McAlister's Deli — Restaurant in Warsaw

Since I got a rude letter back, I am making this review public now. I have actually never done this, but someone that has three kids and is just trying to go out for a quick meal and to spend time with her family. This really just got under my skin. My family and I went to McAllister’s in Warsaw last night for dinner. It was not busy. There was literally four families in there. Only people in line were us. My kids could not decide what they wanted, but we’re very polite and just waiting their turn one after another. After the kids were done ordering we order next fast-forward, we sit down the food came to the table. They had forgot my son’s meal said we didn’t order it… OK not a big deal that happens quite often everywhere. You could tell she was very agitated, but gave his meal for free because we had already paid for everything else. ($70 later) When my last plate came, it wasn’t what I ordered so we took it back up and was told we would get my food in a few minutes and gave us a new number tag for our table.. as everyone’s eating 20 minutes goes by maybe even longer everyone’s done with their food. My son’s plate comes out that they had missed, and he even finished all of his food. I’m agitated at this point because all I wanna do is eat with my family. I walk back up to the counter to ask why I haven’t gotten my food yet, and she looks dead at me and says that she had forgotten all about my food… now not only am I irritated, hungry I’m pissed off. I had to take my food home and I was not able to eat.. the moral of this is do not work in fast food or any restaurants. If you cannot deal with people or be a people person. She could’ve told me that there was a mistake and she was getting it out to me, but to say, she just basically didn’t care and rolled her eyes. I will never eat there again… hire better people.. you’re intro to every page for this company says we strive for better...

I ate at this restaurant today and was very disappointed. I ordered a salad and it was fine until I found a paper food label stuck to the plate under the salad. I motioned for a server to come to my table and she took the salad back to the kitchen. She did ask if I was finished and I said I was. I assumed the price of the salad would be refunded or at least a coupon for a free replacement salad for a later date would be provided. No one came back to my table and after waiting another 10 minutes I approached the cashiers stand to ask if anything was going to be done. The shift manager or front manager came to the register and and refunded 40% of the cost of the salad. This to me was totally unacceptable and I told the shift manager I thought it was unacceptable. I will post to my Facebook page this incident and hope it is shared many times. I know things happen and I thought my pointing it out to the staff was the right thing to do, too bad the staff didn't do the right thing to make it right. I wonder why it is that management has responded to several other reviews and not responded to my review. Did corporate management even check my story with the store managers to see what their side of the story is? Maybe they only respond to favorable reviews as that is mostly where...

Our party of 4 placed our order, the young lady that took our order was very pleasant but had no idea what they served. I asked for a club on white instead of wheat, after several "uh...uh...uh's" looking back and forth between me the menu board and other coworkers, I finally said "that's ok" and ordered something else. My wife's and my meal came very quickly and was very good. Another young lady came to the table and asked if we were told that our friends potato would be 15 minutes and offered a replacement and a free cookie to all of us. My friend said she would be fine and wait the 15 minutes (it had already been 20 minutes since we ordered) when the other couples order came, her potato was hot but her mac&cheese and beed&gravy sandwich were stone cold. I took her order back to the counter and they apologised, warmed it back up and got it right back out. The ladie who came to our table was very polite. The food when warm was very good also, not sure who dropped the ball on this one but drop it they did. We will most definitely go back. We're chalking this one up to a bad night, no biggie. We eat there occasionally and have always been treated well and been...
