Weirdest experience ever. We came in with 6 people for breakfast after being on the road for a few hours. We sat in two 4 top booths. Imagine your last stop at waffle house & the number of plates you use. Even with 4 people, a booth is tight. There was no available seating anywhere else to be seen and we couldn't fit 6 people- a grown man, an adult woman, 2 teen boys, a teenage girl, and a 6 year old- in a single 4 seater booth. A waitress shook us down about the size of our party and asked who was sitting where, but it wasn't clear what the issue was. I had to inform her that 2 people were in the bathroom to which she rolled her eyes. They may not have been allowed to use the public restroom in her opinion. Again, I am not sure what the problem was. We asked if it was an issue for us to sit in 2 booths the lady didn't respond, rolled her eyes again and smirked at the question. We walked in happy, so it's not even like she was met with any kind of angst or anything. We were, however, confused if we were in trouble or if she wanted us to do anything else. We just left because we were met with a low vibe attitude and anger and were not sure where we had misstepped or done wrong as hopeful customers. I have no idea what the big deal was and my husband tips like a boss. Ultimately, the waitress played herself. I guess if you come, come with a small party or with folks who like eating waffles in each other's laps. If not, you will be treated like you are less than human. We would've been fine to switch seating if that had been offered had we missed a seating alternative that fit 6, clearly even separating our party was a non-issue for us. It was like they were mad at 6 of us...
Read moreThis Waffle House needs work and workers. The cook was very disrespectful and rude!!! First they only had one waitress so there was no orders to go being taken so me and my guys said we’ll sit down and eat, bad Idea. So I got to write this in detail so maybe someone can tell me where I was wrong. Our orders was a cheese steak melt hold the bacon add onions mushrooms and hash round. The next was 6 eggs scrambled double hash rounds, grits and 4 sausage patties. When the two orders cam out it was a cheese steak melt with no onions and mushrooms. So I told the waitress and she very nicely told the cook to cook them for the first order. The second order came out and I noticed the eggs look like only two was put on the plate so the cook looked at my plate and said sorry I’ll put them on , ok then I noticed my hash rounds had mushrooms and onions in it that was supposed to be on the cheese steak melt lol I didn’t say anything then I noticed that they didn’t give me the grits so I said I don’t have my grits the cooks replied DON’T RUSH US IT’S COMING.I then replied (cussing) I was just reminding you. The cook relied I don’t need you to remind me that what I got my waitress for. I replied then why the @@@@ you put the onions and mushrooms on my hash rounds instead of on the cheese steak melt he the said this is how it’s gonna go you can eat then leave in a rude voice it was another customer in another booth that told the cook you can’t talk to the customers like that the cook reply was YES I CAN. You do not want people like this handling you food you never know what could happen. I stay in that area for work every week go there and something is always wrong...
Read moreThe Warsaw location is closed for indoor dining at night!! Apparently they have just started this! I’ve eaten at this location for years, and when I’m in town, I enjoy dining here late night, however now I can’t because they only offer “to go” orders late night. I enjoy going in to a dining room and sitting down to eat. Not walking up to a window and eating in my truck! I am very disappointed at this location for closing their dining room! I went to the Warsaw location last Friday with my friends (4 of us total)around 10:30 PM, only to learn indoor dining was closed!!! We wanted to sit down and enjoy a nice meal, not eat in the truck!!! So we all left and went to the McDonald’s next door! I will no longer dine at Waffle House in Warsaw because of this! I think this location is probably going to lose business because their dining room is closed late. I actually live in Raleigh, but visit family often in Warsaw. I used to look forward to getting my “Waffle House Fix” when I come to Warsaw, but I’ll just save it and get my fix at one of the Waffle Houses around RalEigh. To the manager at Warsaw; you’ve lost the business of me and my 3 friends until you reopen the dining room for late night dining again. You can respond to my review in an arrogant, condescending way if you want…..and I know I’m just 1 dissatisfied customer along with my 3 friends, but just remember. Each and every customer matters, and each and every customer has a choice of where to spend...
