North Coast Coffee — Restaurant in Washburn

I've been coming here for years. It's one of my favorite places to hang out when I wanna just chill somewhere. Nice and brightly lit with the big windows! It's not a BIG space but they have good internet and don't charge extra for soy milk so my lactose intolerant stomach is happy without extra $$. They have pre-wrapped sandwiches you can take with you which are pretty darn tasty. And a lot of nice ice cream flavors.

Their guest internet connection is also speedy speedy speedy.

This is also a wonderful spot to hang out in the winter because of their South facing windows. Get that vitamin D...

I usually really like North-coast, but their drinks have been off the last few weeks. Today I ordered the Berry Grey, which was out, and they made me a regular iced black tea latte instead. Which would be fine, if it had actually tasted like tea. Unfortunately it tasted more like slightly berry flavored water with a splash of cream and was kind of gross. I ended up making my own pot of tea to try and salvage it. Feels like a waste of money at that point. Hopefully it was just because they were super busy and they can get back in the groove once tourist...

We stopped by North Coast Coffee after visiting the Apostle Islands. It is a welcoming & adorable little coffee shop with a cozy atmosphere (& has outdoor seating options). North Coast Coffee represents the kind & homey culture of small towns in northern WI.
