I'd really hoped for a finer dining experience, but ended up being good and just a bit better than average. The restaurant has a great atmosphere. The service was definitely above average. However, the food left me wanting for more. I had the veal parmesan paired with Caesar salad as you guys all know that is one of my favorites. To start, the Caesar salad was creamy but lost the flavor one would expect from true Caesar salad. The veal parmesan was a thicker cut than normal, which is appreciated, but a little bit oily. The marinara sauce seems to be missing some flavor that should have been there. The base tomato was overwhelming, and I definitely missed the oregano and parsley flavoring. They use top-quality mozzarella cheese though, so that's definitely a plus in their favor. The final item I had was the bourbon oldfashiond made with woodford. Everything was great, except I expected a clear ice cube. I know it seems a little bit picky, but when you're going for the five stars, you have to hit the mark on everything. The rest of my group enjoyed their dinners but had the same feeling. It just seemed to not hit that five-star rating. As this is a local spot for me, I will continue to try it again and hope to add a follow-up review in the future. I would definitely call this solid 4 stars.

Start by saying I'm 50% Italian. I've come here 3 time now. The bread basket comes with a very good sauce Food is very well prepared! The 1st time I had veal parmesan. Comes with 3 breaded veal in sauce and parmesan. It was very good. The breading needed more seasoning. Sauce is good but not Grandma's house good. The minestrone soup was a little salty for me, tho the chicken tortellini was very good! I finished with tiramisu also amazing. 2nd visit was Burrata cheese in sauce, Crab cakes, 8oz Filet and an off menu meal. The steak needed mushrooms or zip sauce with meal possibly blue cheese for the price. John and Taylor were amazing and informative! Dessert was cannolis. 3rd visit service was slow. food was mushroom soup, Tenderloin tips arrabbiate, and chicken marsala the marsala was not good unfortunately, seemed very bland needed more flavor in sauce. Very cheerful atmosphere, people seem to know each other here a lot. Has a small private event area. Overall this place has a great vibe. If you want it busy come around 6 on Saturday night. If you want it relaxed come 430-6 other days. They do take reservations! A little pricey but is complimented by service. Overall price/quality/quantity not balanced.

Overall, great experience. Nice atmosphere, pleasant staff. Food was very good- calamari was crisp and sauce was delicious. Caesar salad was good- average. Main course- I had chicken parm and spaghetti with meat sauce. It was very tasty. Contrary to reviews I read, it was crispy, not overly oily. I would say above average. Spaghetti with meat sauce was very good, also above average. My husband had chicken marsala and he enjoyed it as well. We enjoyed this experience and would go back! Edit: I forgot to mention the amazing cocktail I had called Pineapple Revolution! Amazing, I wish other places had this drink! The bartender was extremely nice and accommodating as well.

I want to start by saying, the staff here is nothing but five star. I have been coming to this restaurant off and on for 11 years and it has never NEVER been anything less then five star. Tonight however, it failed to make the mark. I was very disappointed in my entree and I do not care to go into detail. I will however say that Cam (apologies if I misspelled your name) Went above and beyond to make sure that I left happy. This speaks volumes of what customer service is about. I think I speak for everybody when I say customer service died a long time ago. However, it's 100% alive and doing well inside this authentic Italian restaurant! I can just not say enough how hard Cam and his entire staff tried so hard to make sure that I was happy and satisfied before I left and I cannot thank them enough. My server Taylor, She was nothing short of amazing! I ordered an old fashioned and she made it exactly how I wanted it to be. She was very attentive and was always asking if I needed anything. She is everything you would want in a mixologist. She answered all of my questions I had about entrees and the daily specials as well as recommending wines and Bourbons. She was very knowledgeable and enjoyable to talk to. It truly shows what a five-star restaurant is all about. I will definitely be back a thousand times over and I highly recommend the scallops. They were so good you would think you were sitting on a yacht eating them in the middle of the ocean. That is no exaggeration. Now let's discuss the ambiance. The restaurant is very tasteful and proper. I was very comfortable and the noise level was moderate but not overwhelming which was surprising because it was very busy. Everybody was very respectful and well dressed . It was definitely a pleasant dining experience. The restroom was as clean as the bathroom in my home. I was pleasantly surprised. So to sum up the review I would just like to say everybody has their bad days and today is Monday. That being said, one bad experience in 11 years is pretty damn good in my book. I highly recommend this restaurant. Their Italian entrees and sea food are second to none. You can definitely tell they take great pride and Care in their work. I have sampled pretty much everything on the menu and I cannot tell you enough how fresh everything tastes. There is definitely a lot of value for the money. I would like to thank Sal, Cam,Taylor (again I apologize if I misspelled your name) for a very pleasurable evening and I look forward to breaking bread with you...

As empty as the restaurant was It took way too long to be seated. Me and my wife stood there for 10 minutes while employees stood around talking and staring at us. It was actually kind of uncomfortable. After what seems like forever, the hostess showed up and he sat us at our table. After about 5 minutes this lady showed up to give us some water I asked for a old fashioned and she replied I would have to wait for my waitress. After another 10 minutes my waitress finally shows up and I expressed to her how irritated I was that so many people were standing around doing nothing why am I waiting so long for my order to be taken and my drinks to be served? She simply apologized and that was fine by me. So she took our drink order and our food order. When my drink came it was the absolute worst old-fashioned I have ever had in my entire life. There was no garnish and it was so sweet I couldn't even drink it. I don't know what they think an old-fashioned is but this definitely was not it. My wife's veal parmesan was absolutely terrible. The chicken tasted like it came from Frozen and the sauce was so salty it was difficult to eat. The noodles were so overcooked they were very mushy and gave the meal an oatmeal like consistency. My scallops however were five star.

EDIT: thank you so much for reaching out and making it right! My wife and I look forward to dining with you very soon. And as always management is five star! I'm sure this was just an isolated incident as all our previous visits have been nothing less...

I first visited this place in mid 2018. The food was excellent. Pricey but the food made it worth it. I sat at the bar and was served, not seated at table. (my preference) Leaving, I knew I would be back again someday. Today was that day! I walked in at 6 pm and it was an hour wait (typical for any restaurant on Saturday night) So... bar seating! I had a different waiter this time. I've worked in the restaurant industry and I understand how it can be very busy at times. Waiter passed me several times and didn't even acknowledge me... He eventually did and I ordered. I could tell he was new because he forgot to ask the people next to me if they wanted soup or salad (after ordering there entree) And he forgot to ask me as well. Not a big deal. Later I found out he actually was a new hire. (Not a big deal either; we all start somewhere) To keep it simple, second time was waste of money and probably won't return. Service was poor to me especially watching waiter be more friendly others seated at the bar. (i.e. introducing himself and welcoming them) Plus my pasta had very little sauce on it and I didn't want to say anything.

I ordered $5 gelato and it took forever but at least the waiter apologized. It was literally like 1/2 cup of gelato. Wasn't worth $5. I wouldn't recommend it unless you don't mind $5 for 1 mere scoop. The grocery store has better and MORE ice cream for the same price. This second experience was...
