Haunted Forest & Wood Fired Pizza

As a former chef who ran a wood fired pizzeria and got a napoletana certification during my time there, I have a different standard than most when it comes to wood fired pizza... and these folks met every single criteria. Just to look at the pizza itself, you can immediately see the micro blistering on the crust that both keeps the dough chewy and airy and also infuses it with that lovely smokiness. I took a peek underneath and saw even more of that perfect microblistering that means they are running their oven at just the right temperature with the heat being evenly distributed between the dome and the floor. I picked up my first slice and it folded just the way it should. But little else compares to that first bite! The harmonious distribution of toppings, the subtle palette of the tomato sauce and fresh mozzarella framing the meats... Exquisite. The composition of a wood fired pizza is so important because the crust is thin and if it's too lightly topped, it gets crispy and burns and if it's too heavily topped (or sauced), it stays doughy and soggy but this was perfect. The quality and artistry is unparalleled. I'll have to find excuses to head northward because no one else I have tried in the area even comes close to this. Thank you.

Five stars for the pizza, the service, and the setting. Sitting overlooking the Cedar River with a heater was awesome! The servers were all super nice. My 'za had a predicted time of 15-20 minutes but came in about 5 minutes. I had the Wenatchee personal-sized pizza. The crust was perfect; it had just the right chew, not too much, but so, so good. The toppings were light but really well-balanced; nothing overwhelmed it. With a cold beer, I really enjoyed my pizza. For the salad, I'd give it two stars. The greens were really fresh, but this was supposed to be a Caesar salad; Romaine is the lettuce of choice in Caesar salad, not mixed baby greens. The dressing was served on the side but seemed to be an awful rendition that came off of the Cysco truck. As were the boring croutons and pre-grated bland Parmesan cheese, just truly disgusting. I find undressed salads unappealing. The salad went into the trash. So, if you go, stick to the pizza and cold beer.

A dog attacked my 4 year toddler at Cascadia Pizza. Lunged at her while aggressively barking and hit her in the face with the dog's face. I have pictures that show my daughters face where the dog hit my daughter. Working with Jacob and team has been a nightmare filled with lies, misinformation and lack of follow through.

First alarm bell - they didn't ask the family with the dangerous dog to leave. They let them sit there and finish the pizza. Meanwhile we left because my daughter was hysterical. Wouldn't let me put her down. The manager, Jacob, did make a joke about my daughter's face while I was explaining this to him "I do see a lot of pizza sauce". Super inappropriate.

Before we left, Jacob agreed that they would give King County Animal Control or the police the information of the customer who owned the dog. Jacob told me they recorded their CC information of the customer and are holding onto it.

I spoke to Animal Control a few days later who told me Jacob specifically said they had no information of the customer at all. They lied to Animal Control.

That afternoon, I spoke to Jacob again because that was a widely different story from what he told me. He told me HR actually said they can't give out that information - did HR tell him to lie to the King County officers? He assured me HR would email me explaining who and how I could get that information, whether that required subpoena or something us.

It's been almost 2 weeks and I've not heard anything. The continued lies, wrong information, and lack of follow through is alarming.

For a place that's supposed to be family friendly, this has been a shockingly terrible experience and we'll never...

This is an update to my former 5 star review. My family and I live 25 minutes from Cascadia but the food is consistently great, so we don't mind making the trip out for it.

Yesterday, we placed an online order and set the pick up time for 60 minutes later. We ended up getting there 15 minutes before our pick up time and my wife went and checked in, she was told at the pick-up window that our pizza just went into the oven and it would be ready in 10-15 minutes; perfect, we were early.

My wife went back up at our originally scheduled pick-up time and there was some discussion before she was told there had been a mistake with the printer, and so it would be another 5-10 minutes to wait, they would bring it out to our vehicle. Why would a "printer issue" delay our order if we were already told our food was in the oven?

10 minutes later I walked up to the window and was told it would be out shortly. 5 minutes later it was brought out to us with a gift card for a small pizza for our troubles.

So to recap, not only did we schedule a pick-up time 60 minutes out, we waited an additional 15 minutes for our food, 75 minutes total from time our order was placed! The pizza was great, as always, but our wings were about the temperature if they had been sitting around for 15 minutes.

There's no chance we will be back, I would rather travel elsewhere or order in. If you forgot to put our pizza in, tell us you forgot, but don't switch to "there was an issue with the printer" after telling us it was placed into the...

Yo fellas, I just gotta take a second to let y’all know, stopping at this spot every day has officially turned into one of the highlights of my routine. No exaggeration, you guys aren’t just slinging pizzas—you’re running this place like absolute gods behind the counter. The way you handle the rush, keep everything flowing, and still make it feel like every single customer’s order is the most important one in the world… that’s different level stuff. It’s like watching a perfectly oiled machine, except it’s not just business—it’s style, it’s confidence, it’s straight up art.

The energy in here is unreal too. You’ve got that balance of being laid back and cool, but when it’s time to get things done, you’re sharper than anyone in the game. The pizza always comes out perfect—crispy, cheesy, piping hot—and you never miss a beat. I don’t even think you realize how smooth you guys look running this spot. Most people would crumble under that kind of daily chaos, but you make it look easy, like you were literally born for this.

Honestly, it’s inspiring. Every time I walk in, I see young guys absolutely owning their craft, and it makes me think, “Damn, that’s how you do it.” So yeah, just know you’re not just feeding people—you’re building a whole vibe, a whole experience, and people like me notice it. Keep running it the way you’re running it, because it’s legendary.

Much respect to the squad—you’re killing it.

Jacob, you are man!

Keep it real...
