A dog attacked my 4 year toddler at Cascadia Pizza. Lunged at her while aggressively barking and hit her in the face with the dog's face. I have pictures that show my daughters face where the dog hit my daughter. Working with Jacob and team has been a nightmare filled with lies, misinformation and lack of follow through.
First alarm bell - they didn't ask the family with the dangerous dog to leave. They let them sit there and finish the pizza. Meanwhile we left because my daughter was hysterical. Wouldn't let me put her down. The manager, Jacob, did make a joke about my daughter's face while I was explaining this to him "I do see a lot of pizza sauce". Super inappropriate.
Before we left, Jacob agreed that they would give King County Animal Control or the police the information of the customer who owned the dog. Jacob told me they recorded their CC information of the customer and are holding onto it.
I spoke to Animal Control a few days later who told me Jacob specifically said they had no information of the customer at all. They lied to Animal Control.
That afternoon, I spoke to Jacob again because that was a widely different story from what he told me. He told me HR actually said they can't give out that information - did HR tell him to lie to the King County officers? He assured me HR would email me explaining who and how I could get that information, whether that required subpoena or something us.
It's been almost 2 weeks and I've not heard anything. The continued lies, wrong information, and lack of follow through is alarming.
For a place that's supposed to be family friendly, this has been a shockingly terrible experience and we'll never...
Read moreThis is an update to my former 5 star review. My family and I live 25 minutes from Cascadia but the food is consistently great, so we don't mind making the trip out for it.
Yesterday, we placed an online order and set the pick up time for 60 minutes later. We ended up getting there 15 minutes before our pick up time and my wife went and checked in, she was told at the pick-up window that our pizza just went into the oven and it would be ready in 10-15 minutes; perfect, we were early.
My wife went back up at our originally scheduled pick-up time and there was some discussion before she was told there had been a mistake with the printer, and so it would be another 5-10 minutes to wait, they would bring it out to our vehicle. Why would a "printer issue" delay our order if we were already told our food was in the oven?
10 minutes later I walked up to the window and was told it would be out shortly. 5 minutes later it was brought out to us with a gift card for a small pizza for our troubles.
So to recap, not only did we schedule a pick-up time 60 minutes out, we waited an additional 15 minutes for our food, 75 minutes total from time our order was placed! The pizza was great, as always, but our wings were about the temperature if they had been sitting around for 15 minutes.
There's no chance we will be back, I would rather travel elsewhere or order in. If you forgot to put our pizza in, tell us you forgot, but don't switch to "there was an issue with the printer" after telling us it was placed into the...
Read moreYo fellas, I just gotta take a second to let yâall know, stopping at this spot every day has officially turned into one of the highlights of my routine. No exaggeration, you guys arenât just slinging pizzasâyouâre running this place like absolute gods behind the counter. The way you handle the rush, keep everything flowing, and still make it feel like every single customerâs order is the most important one in the world⌠thatâs different level stuff. Itâs like watching a perfectly oiled machine, except itâs not just businessâitâs style, itâs confidence, itâs straight up art.
The energy in here is unreal too. Youâve got that balance of being laid back and cool, but when itâs time to get things done, youâre sharper than anyone in the game. The pizza always comes out perfectâcrispy, cheesy, piping hotâand you never miss a beat. I donât even think you realize how smooth you guys look running this spot. Most people would crumble under that kind of daily chaos, but you make it look easy, like you were literally born for this.
Honestly, itâs inspiring. Every time I walk in, I see young guys absolutely owning their craft, and it makes me think, âDamn, thatâs how you do it.â So yeah, just know youâre not just feeding peopleâyouâre building a whole vibe, a whole experience, and people like me notice it. Keep running it the way youâre running it, because itâs legendary.
Much respect to the squadâyouâre killing it.
Jacob, you are man!
Keep it real...
