Cinola is a great place to relax and have a beverage of your choice. The food is good, but a little over priced in my opinion. Prime rib on Friday’s. If they have left over prime rib, they do prime rib dip sandwiches which are fantastic. Great pizza as well. The manager, Heather is an awesome bartender/waitress. She always has a pleasant attitude and a great smile. The other bartenders/waitresses are nice as well. One side of the building is the bar and the other side is the restaurant which is kid friendly. They have darts, one pool table, touch tunes for music, and pull tabs. They also have a nice patio. Overall very clean. Great regulars to have conversations with.
Now to the reason it’s not a full five star review. The owner and her husband are not pleasant people. The owner will walk out of the backroom and look at patrons and not say a word, won’t even smile. She will address problems with her employees in a very rudely way in front of the whole bar. Which is uncomfortable for the guests and is embarrassing for the employees. She tries to do too much and micromanages her manager/other employees. Her husband has an absolute p*$$ poor attitude. He is very uninviting when he is walking around “working”. On multiple occasions I have witnessed him talk down to the manager and the employees, yell at them to help him when they are CLEARLY taking orders from patrons. He will sit at the bar and take up a seat to enjoy a few cups of free soup and a sandwich while the employees are running their heads off. He just sits back and watches them get swamped in work. When the owner and her husband are done working, they sit at the bar when it’s busy and eat/drink. Most people don’t like taking up a whole table by themselves but have to because the owner and her husband are bellied up to the bar eating and drinking. I feel that is the wrong way to run your business. Pam and Don should be ashamed. Maybe help your employees with work when they are swamped, as they are making YOU money. End of rant.
I’m not trying to steer people away from this bar/restaurant as I’ve enjoyed it for years and still enjoy it. But Pam and Don need to...
Read moreI waited a long time to post this review because I was so confused/conflicted about the incident. I was refused food while they were still serving alcohol, the bartender butted into a conversation I was having at my table about how that was illegal and argued that it wasn't with the paralegal, and the bar owner of another bar who were at my table along with myself, who is a longstanding bartender as well. I was then confronted by a regular as I was waiting for my check, he started encroaching on my personal space and ended up hocking a giant chew filled lougie into my eyes. Called the next day to talk to the general manager and she seemed apologetic. Next time I came to this bar I was refused service. They broke the law, wouldn't serve food, and did nothing as I was surrounded by a group of large gentlemen, and assaulted. And then I'm denied service the next time i come in... I won't ever recommend somebody come here. Pinging my review back to the top so more people can see it! It still infuriates me how...
Read moreThis is one of my go to secret spots in Spokane. I have been here probably around 30 times and it is consistently one of the best places to eat. The food is always amazing. My personal favorites are their prime rib (on the weekends) and their burgers. Everytime I go the staff are friendly and have always gotten my food in a timely manner. Very low pressure environment and very nice place. It is divided into a bar half and a resturant half with separate rooms so there is no overlap if you are looking for something more family friendly. The drinks here are easily one of the best this side of the state. If you are looking for a good meal and/or a good drink this is the...
