UPDATE: I've downgraded to 1 star because problems have gotten even worse. Not only are they still refusing to follow basic food safety standards. Even when I called in telling them that the food needed to be packaged seperatly ahead of time, when I went to pick it up, the woman that was to hand it to me refused to give it to me until I had to put up with her going off on me and saying how I'm causing problems because of my demand for safe handling practices and customer service. It's bad enough that she has a poor work ethic and lack of safety standards but to go off on me because I have a good work ethic and safety standards was totally unacceptable. She claimed that I'm the only delivery driver that cares about proper handling, which I don't get how that is somehow a bad thing about me. I can't help if other drivers don't care about customer service as much as I do. I think others should speak up and demand that this Starbucks start packaging items correctly and don't intentionally delay orders so that they can be nasty to drivers. Since this has been an ongoing problem with multiple employees, this tells me that the problem is with the general management of this store and I'm elevating the issue to corporate offices and other officials. This is all stuff that I should not have to do if the management had any sense of ethics at all.
old review, still relevant:
I've had multiple problems at this Starbucks with improperly treated food. I brought it up to them twice and after the 2nd time I thought that things were going to be fixed, but today it happened a 3rd time and I had to take further steps.
Food intended to be served hot cannot ever be packaged directly with food intended to be served cold. It's different if there it's like a Sandwhich served at room temperature, but if you have an Iced latte with a breakfast burrito, it is unacceptable. It's also a food safety violation. There needs to be insulation between them or separate packaging.
I don't think that these very same employees would be fine with their food being treated so poorly. If I personally received food in this condition, I'd be demanding a refund. Other customers that have received this poor level of service should also demand a refund. If anyone gets food poisoning over this, they are very right and should be awarded damages in a lawsuit. It also makes me look bad delivering such poorly handled food. It shows not only bad customer service, but also...
Read moreBe forewarned, if you plan to come here to get work or studying done as I did, this Starbucks only has 3 outlets available to you. 1 is 10ft high off the ground, the other 2 are on either sides of the communal sinks. I don’t know about you but I’m not 9 feet tall, and I don’t want my electronics near splashing water. Not convenient or customer friendly. Given that Starbucks advertises as a place to come, stay, socialize, or be productive (e.g. their free refills throughout your stay at the store policy) more thought could have been put into this major detail when designing this location. That being said, store is clean. Staff is incredibly friendly. Food and drinks were on par with Starbucks regular standards. This place is fine for a pit stop during a long drive/roadtrip, but maybe not so local friendly for sitting and staying longer periods of time to enjoy or utilize the...
Read moreAfter a couple of years of coming here, I have seen a lot of different employees. Saddly, most seem unhappy and are not friendly. When I order ahead, there are a couple of drinks they don't make until you're there. You have to get someone's attention to make your drink. Many people will stand around and avoid eye contact. When I have politely tried to get their attention, they have no facial expression, do not say hi, apologize for ignoring you, or act friendly at all (so sorry I bothered you with buying something at you place of employment). They make the drink and hand it to you without saying a word. I thought it may be a couple of isolated incidents or people, but it seems they must learn from each other. It's a shame, starbucks people usually are not this way...
