I would like to start by saying I would rather give a 2 1/2 star. Now on to my wife and Iās review, for our appetizers we had a cup of seafood Gumbo all around ānormalā flavors not as dark as most seafood Gumbos came out Luke warm. We then had the Eggplant Belle Rose, the best thing which was the only hot item was the fried Eggplant it was very delicious, the sauce was warm was good but not very distinct felt like a big scoop of mush. For the entrees, we had 1 special which was a Grouper topped with seafood sauce with Asparagus and stuffed potato. The other was the menu item Redfish Lafourche with Yam Pattieās and carrots. The special was $29.99 and the Redfish $23.99 the serving sizes surprisingly small pieces of fish. Both entrees also came out warm not hot. The special fish was fresh tasting and good asparagus cooked good but cold. For the stuffed potato āhorribleā seemed like a frozen reheated packaged potato which tasted of rehydrated bacon bits. The redfish was just normal grilled ok. Two small yam Pattieās best thing on plate. The carrots were very sweet like cooked in a syrup and the stuffing was very mushy while both dishes slathered with seafood sauce. My wife and I never get dessert because we are normally full from dinner we both agreed we could eat dessert so we went for the bread pudding. Our waitress comes out and says be very careful the desserts are HOT for once we had hope. Well my wifeās was very hot mine was warm on outside cold on inside. Taste of both was good but not great. Suggestion when microwaving put one Bread-pudding in at a time so both are HOT. We drove 45 minutes to try not saying itās terrible but not worth the visit again and hope this review helps others decide.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreWHERE DO I EVEN START??? Well, we were driving for around 19 hours at this point. I had my son looking up random restaurants for us to stop at since we weren't going to make it to Mobile, AL in time for some southern classics. He stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant! With only a few minutes away, we were all so hungry. Myself, my daughter, and my son. I'm a single fulltime father who travels for his job and brings them along so they can enjoy the beauty in life before they have to endure adulthood haha... Anyways.... Finding this place was such a blessing. We ordered Crawfish Etoufee, Fried Filet Mignon, Stuffed Mushrooms, and their absolutely amazing Gumbo! Everything was hands down some of the best, and I mean best Creole / Cajun food I ever had the privilege to eat! Born in Houston, I am a good judge. The BEST service ever! Emily answered the phone so polite and was SO inviting it's what convinced us to come! Then our waitress, Valarie was just the best thing in 2025! She was so sweet, professional, attentive, compassionate, and breathtakingly beautiful! When we left we told each other we wished we could just bring the food and people with us! So delicious, while the atmosphere was very relaxing. I am so grateful to been able to enjoy such an amazing piece of history! Thanks to Steamboat Warehouse for such mouthwatering dishes, along with Emily & Valarie for being themselves and bring the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAlright let's address this situation...the food there is good, very authentic cuisine. The atmosphere is superb. This is an easy 5 star rating until you get the rumbling in your tummy and have to make a quick stop at the bathroom. I know what you are thinking, $25 plate kind of place is going to have a decent lavatory situation, well you would be wrong. How about you walk into a men's restroom with two urinals and one toilet, but the toilet stall has no door. No it didn't get ripped off by some patron who was over served at the quaint bar. There was never a door placed on the frame. Obviously at this point you would come to the sensible solution to lock the main door in the restroom, well you would be wrong again. No your options are to use the prison style toilet bowl and pray someone doesn't interrupt you, or hold it until you pass the nearest gas station. Once again I would like to reiterate that this is a nice clean establishment. I would expect a bathroom similar to this at a college bar or a gas station where the bathroom is on the exterior on the building. I do not expect the open potty experience from the fine establishment of...
