UPDATE: Be aware, no service at this location and no signs indicating have moved location. Showed up on Friday night with no indication on this site or on the doors what was going on, so we left. Discovered after we ate somewhere else that they were shifting food service to Kascadia Public House 3307 Evergreen Way Suite 301B, Washougal, WA 98671 At least post something obvious. Disappointed

Small brew pub with community atmosphere tucked way back in an industrial park. Some nice live edge tables, a fireplace, and music in the front section makes for good experience. However we ended up with a table in the back that had several booths and tables, no music, and much noticeably colder (most likely due to being close to the brewing operation. Who wants warm beer right ;-)? ) I recommend sitting in the front if you can find a table. Sitting outside would be nice but not in December. Order at the bar and get your quick beer samples and drinks from friendly staff. Cider selection was VERY limited. Would be nice to see a couple more local ciders available. Food service at table was quick and attentive and brought us some condiment bottles. The burgers were good size, plenty of onions and pickles, and cooked to medium. Very juicy, so keep lots of napkins handy. Fries were fresh and cooked with just right amount of crisp but a tad heavy on the salt. We look forward to coming back when it’s warm out and being outside. Especially for a live...

We really used to like this place--used to recommend it to people.

It had (still has, I'd guess) good beer and a nice-enough atmosphere. Service is utilitarian but no major complaints (order at counter). We would often come here, order AT LEAST $100 in food/beer, and the food was really really good at first. After covid, service and menu was really spotty, but most of us had patience because of the times.

My major gripe this past couple years (and why we never come here anymore) is that the quality of cooking has gone downhill by a LOT. We brought friends and family from out of town to show off one of our favorite spots, but the last 3 or 4 times we came here, the food was really below par for comparable places in Washougal and Camas. It embarrassed us 2 times to bring our loved ones here.

Such a disappointment, and when I tried to reach out to the owner via several emails (Just to hear his side and possibly avoid putting a low ranking review here on Google), he finally answered that he would get back to me later and then never wrote or reached out. Too bad--I tried to be nice.

Bottom Line: I think their beer is still good (haven't been back in half a year now, so not sure) and the ambiance warrants a fair 2 star review, but I can't recommend it for a decent meal when you're paying...

April 2019 -- We decided to drop in for Thaco Thursday. Hmm. Tacos were fine, but not great, they were tacos. Pretzel was good. We've decided to give the food another go and maybe try wings next time. Yes, I understand this is a brewery, which implies beer, but as a non-beer lover, I was disappointed in they didn't offer a house wine or any wine. Beer, cider, soda were the choices ... Bummer. If your looking for beer and bar food, this maybe up your alley. It missed the mark, for what we were expecting. However, we will be dropping in again and giving them another try.

Updated July 2019 - Visited again, still no wine, but we did have the steak bites which were AWESOME!!! Still dreaming abt them, so good!! Was hesitant to try loaded fries (in general loaded fries are usually covered in gunky cheese sauce and soggy), BUT ... these fries were wonderful! Crispy outside, flaky inside with chunks of real bacon, green onions and real cheddar cheese! They did feel the need to pour gunky cheese on them, but it was ok. From the first fry to the last, they were all crisp no soggy fries! Upgrading score from 3 stars to 4 ..... Get some wine on the menu and I will gladly score...

Been here 3 times now and none of them standout as good experiences. This last visit was a prime example. We ordered the baguette with beer-cheese fondue, 20 minutes later, it showed up. The beer-cheese fondue was delicious, but the baguette was rock-hard, like harder than croutons. I returned the ordered item to the bar and politely requested some softer bread. They said no problem. 5 minutes later: the cook delivered cold, untoasted, sliced bread, chopped into pieces to our table as a substitute. What an insult!!! I mentioned to him that we originally looked at the pretzel with beer-cheese fondue, but decided to go larger w/ baguette & fondue, but the baguette was too hard (I'd even say stale, then re-toasted, but didn't actually say that). He kept giving excuses about using a food cart or something (that's no excuse for stale & overcooked). I was mid-one-star-review about this terrible experience, when cook showed back up with a fresh cooked pretzel (comped) and it was delicious! So 3 stars for a final effort for redemption. Still not impressed by food nor service!

We came here for a lunch with our 2 young kids and everyone came away very happy. The food was all-star level for pub food. We all split a fresh pretzel with mustard and cheese. So good. The kids got Mac and Cheese and the chicken strips. Excellent. In fact, adults would love them. My wife and I split both the Seasonal Salad (strawberry almond goat cheese) and the pulled pork sandwich. Oh. My. Goodness. All of it was so tasty. I had a small batch Cucumber Like Gose - adult spa water yummyness. My wife got a root beer - quite good. We sat on the patio that overlooks the wildlife preserve and Mt Hood. We are definitely coming back.
