Dunkin' — Restaurant in Waterbury

It must've been the cashier's first dsy, and why they put her on the morning rush all by herself, I'll never know. She had no idea how to work the register and it took her a full 5 minutes to get my uncomplicated order in the system, and then it wasn't even correct. But I was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt. My melting point was that this cashier kept touching her face, hair and MOUTH while taking my order AND THEN PROCEEDED TO TOUCH MY FOOD!!!! No gloves! I don't know about you, but I find this absolutely disgusting (I'm sure the health department does too). When I told her that I would not accept the food and why I would not, she just shrugged her shoulders. I talked to the manager and told her what had transpired. I have left so many positive reviews of local businesses but I can't find anything positive to say about the 1565 Watertown Avenue, Waterbury location. We have given them several chances because everyone has a bad day. But this location is consistently messing up orders, forgetting food items, complaining, missing mobile orders so people have to wait and today my husband goes down to get a mobile order only to have them forget the donut (we had to remind them AND they came back with the wrong donut!) and they could not get off the phone long enough to make the bagel in the order. I go to this Dunkin' Donuts most mornings and I absolutely love it. I almost always go through the drive-thru and I ALWAYS get such pleasant service. They always greet you and offer whatever special is going on (which I know they're required to do but they always do it professionally and cheerfully), always repeat my order back, and always get mine right. (All the employees there are great, though I'm usually served by a younger gentleman whose name I can never remember but who is absolutely delightful.) The one time there was a miscommunication inside and I was handed the wrong bag, the staff rushed to stop me to rectify their error and apologized profusely.
