As someone new to the Waterford area, I was eager to explore local favorites, and Custard Corner did not disappoint. On my first visit, I ordered the Fudge Brownie Sundae, and it absolutely made my day.

The custard was creamy and smooth, perfectly complementing a warm, chewy brownie and rich hot fudge sauce. Each bite offered an indulgent combination of textures and flavors, finished off with classic whipped cream and a cherry on top.

What made my experience even better was enjoying my sundae outside in the dedicated outdoor seating area. It was the perfect spot to relax, enjoy the sunshine, and take in the lively, friendly atmosphere. The staff were welcoming, and even with a bustling crowd, I never felt rushed.

Custard Corner is our all-time favorite ice cream/custard spot. We find a local place everywhere we live and Custard Corner is by far our favorite. From all of the options of flavored custard, to their insanely amazing dole whips, to anything else on their menu, I don’t think it’s possible to be disappointed in them. We have yet to try something we didn’t like. The staff is so so nice and service is great. Even with those long lines when the weather is perfect and everyone rushes to CC, they get through everyone at a reasonable time and everyone is happy. Our family would go to CC every single day if we could. We’d also go there in a blizzard if they were open in the winter. I honestly genuinely think that Custard Corner is on my list of reasons I don’t want to move far away. I’d be so sad to not live so close!

This place has been around forever and for good reason! Such tasty custard, way better than your chain "ice cream" places.

If you've never had custard, don't be afraid to try it, it has much more flavor than regular ice cream due to the higher egg content. They will give you a sample if you ask for it.

Now they have multiple rotating flavors of custard to choose from, which is exciting! They have many flurry flavors, which is custard mixed with candy/toppings/syrups. My favorite will always be a heath flurry, it is a timeless classic for me.

On my last visit, I met a lady who lives in Bloomfield and she has been coming there for over 37 years. She got one flurry to eat immediately and one to take home and freeze. She used to get 10 flurries to take home and freeze, that's...
