Extremely disappointed by the lack of customer service I received this evening. I called to ask them about an order I placed via UberEats (their restaurant and menu is listed on ubereats) and was met with a nasty attitude from one of their employees on the phone. Her words was “I don’t know what to tell ya. We don’t do ubereats.” I said “it looks like your restarting and menu is listed there” she responded with no empathy “welp! I don’t know what to tell ya. My husband and I went there for the first time. We are new to the area. The waitress was awesome, however the owner Guy, burned my husbands order and he remade it with no problem until he saw the order was for black folks. He came out and apologized to a white couple that ordered the same thing my husband ordered. When the couple said it wasn’t for them and I stood up, he tossed the plate across the bar and said oh.... well here. And wouldn’t give us eye contact. We felt very uncomfortable after and left. For years I have wanted to try this place and just never think of it when it comes time to pick where to eat. Last night, we gave it our first try and we are so glad we finally made it in. We were greeted immediately (by staff and other guests) and it was a small but intimate space to eat a great dinner, reasonable prices, and just have a nice evening.
