I have been to this place two times, both for the Comedy Shows by "Derailed Comedy" -
First - the shows were terrific! The comedians were on point, timing, jokes. etc.
I truly enjoyed them, and appreciate when the headliner goes over because THEY are having as good a time as WE were!
The place looks great! Colors are vibrant and welcoming. Looks NEW!
You want to root for them to be successful! This little town needs it.
The first time was the Valentines Day Comedy show, this was their first time doing such a big event, so I expected some "hiccups"
The wait staff was very friendly and apologetic.
The food, was none the least- disappointing.
The Steak was flavorless, and not cooked medium as requested. It was fatty and did not look appetizing at all.
They provided Onion Rings but no vegetable. The Onion rings came with horseradish. No not horseradish sauce, just horseradish.
For desert, we got ... Rice pudding, nope not kidding.
At the end of the show, they did apologize for the "hiccups" and promised to do better.
I was waiting for Gordon Ramsay to come out and say "Shut it down" LOL...
Well I decided to give them another chance and came back.
I will say this time it was a slight improvement. The wait staff again was very nice and apologetic, the food....
The wings were good, but not well done nor had sauce on side like we asked. But they were tasty.
The Chicken Parmesan, was a decent portion, but definitely not a "WOW" , was a MEH.
What was insulting to me, was the "SUPREME NACHOS"- Tortilla Chips toped with COLD Nacho Cheese Sauce and what can be described as "COLD HORMEL CANNED CHILI" on top. Really?
No Sour Cream, No Salsa, No Jalapenos, No Black Olives, wasn't even hoping for at least some Chopped tomato's or god forbid maybe some diced green scallion on top? Maybe? They did advertise as SUPREME. Was a SUPREME failure.
AGAIN have to give them some grace, as it was a packed house with well over 60+ people there, so maybe they need a smaller menu? for these types of nights, or maybe a Buffet? or Maybe just finger food, instead of "Dinners" - Just my 2 cents.
Seriously, if you want people to come back, then you got to nail the food on these big type of events. Chicken Fingers, Mozzarella Sticks, simple stuff like that but made awesome! Then we would be like. Wow that was good, I wonder what their dinners must be like. Again just my 2 cents, I could be wrong.
Will I go back again? Definitely for another round of "Derailed Comedy" for sure!
As far as food is concerned?
I would like to go there just to dine in, to see if it makes a difference since I have heard so many great reviews about the food here.
If I do go, I definitely will update...
Read moreWe were there last night Saturday 8.16.25. The place is beautiful. The bar tenders were amazing. I was there celebrating someone's party and they purchased food bc she was told the kitchen was closed due to the electric constantly cutting off on 1 side of the building. But the kitchen eventually reopened. Due to the electricity constantly shutting off, the music last night also STOPPED several times throughout out the night. The music was amazing as well. Unfortunately, the air conditioner stopped working earlier that day as well. It was very hot inside the building last night. I'm sure this issue will be addressed soon. I believe the AMPS or something need to be increased bc the electricity shut down several times last night in that facility. A knowledgable electrician needs to take a look at this bc it could be something else. It never happened before. Overall, the atmosphere is grown, sexy & relaxed. They play a lot of line dancing songs along with a great mix of 70's music. There are plenty of soft chairs and tables to enjoy yourself. The dance floor is also a good size. I did not score it as 5 bc there was no air, electricity shut off several times, and I did not order their food. The energy and vibes were great. I will be back. There is a $10 cover charge...
Read moreAfter driving by the vacant building for years it was great to finally go inside. Its gorgeous!!!! It's very well set up with plenty of room between tables. So at first entry it was a nice feel
Now here's the great about it
1- the prices are very very reasonable. In fact, they were pre Covid prices if you ask me. Lots of $10-14 items that come with soup too so you leave full
2- food was a excellent. Portions were big for the price !!!! I got an open roast beef with gravy and mashed potatoes and my wife got a gyro panini and they were incredible. We were stuffed
3- the service is very good. Watched all the waitresses and hosts hustling and working hard and providing great service.
4- they sell for $10 large cinnamon bread or cheese bread similar to the old Mastori's diner off rt 130. We took a cinnamon one home and it was delicious!!!
5- tons of parking
Great to have a local restaurant where you can relax , it's not loud, service is great, food is incredible and the prices are lower than any other local establishment
We will...
