KFC — Restaurant in Waterloo

Went to kfc today with my family and the chicken was old discoloration and not the quality of the real definition of quality of the colonel's fried chicken. I feel that they have a lazy set of staff and employees and they honestly need to rethink letting the robots take over this establishment at least the food will be fresh and have quality! Also a young lady was in drive thru who refused to take more than one order. My fries were discolored and old hard to eat and let me mention the sandwich was soggy with the bread. There was no juice as a American this meal was not worth $100 nor did the staff care because as i pull around from drive thru you see all employees outside gathered around Not doing there job and I've also worked for kfc so I know there's rules n a policy at hand None were followed and I truely feel half the employees need to be fired because there not caring to make your customers feel welcomed or the food does not follow quality standards. Feel so bad that I know I'll rather go to cedarfalls on university to get next time because I refused to have cold n old meat served to me and my living family.! Also they refuse to hire people who truely wants to work but hopefully corporate does something about this lack of standard discoloration of food in our community and society! They need to hire dee back because there brown food isn't okay. And just think will u server your own kids this food at home. I bet not! This used to be my favorite KFC.

Their food quality, staff, and cleanliness were second to none.

However, we stopped in 2 weeks ago and the restaurant was filthy, food was room temperature, the staff was too busy visiting to wait on me, the kitchen was disgusting, and there was a greasy cloud hanging in the air.

I figured they just got done with the supper rush so I figured this was a "one time thing".

Nope.

We stopped in last night around 6:30 PM and the restaurant was still disgustingly filthy and the kitchen was even worse. That greasy smoke cloud was still hanging in the air too.

The food was hot, but was greasy and dripping.

The biscuits were hot and fresh.

No cookies put in the meals. No loss here. The pre-packaged cookies could double as wagon wheels and taste nasty anyway.

The staff acted like it was a huge inconvenience to wait on me.

The health department will definitely be getting a call first thing Monday morning.

On a side note... if fast food workers want $15+/hour then I want my food fast, hot, right, served with a smile, and a clean restaurant.

So I just wanted to warn people to go to this KFC I went yesterday March 2, 2022 and we got sodas my boyfriend took a drink of his (mt dew) and it was like drinking water we then drove across the street to Walgreens I took a drink of my soda (root beer) and it was flat and nasty so I dumped it out the car door I for some reason looked in the cup after dumping it and there was this bug!!!! I’m am 9 months pregnant and this is the most disgusting thing I have ever encountered and the manager the was working did absolutely nothing about it!! I tried calling today and talking to manager but give busy signal all day long so they must of known I was going to call and took the phone off the hook!!! The manager literally didn’t even really speak to me she kept walking around from font counter to food to drive thru!!! There excuse was there wasn’t anything she could do because she didn’t have means to do anything about it!!!!
