So we stopped in on a Friday night, it was busy, but nothing crazy. We get a table right inside the door. This is going to sound petty I know, but they have a light in the entry way that must be on a motion sensor. So the light would go on and off a lot... was really annoying and distracting where we were sitting. The service was severely sub-par. It took nearly 15 minutes after we ordered our drinks to get them to the table. My one rule for judging service quality is was my drink full, and were there chips on the table. These are the two things that the waiter has the control over. I will never take poor food quality or if food takes forever to come out, on the wait staff as they have no control over this. Our waitress never stopped by until our food came out, and then again after we were all done eating... unacceptable. The food quality was fine, nothing to write home about, but was good. I had a burrito, my wife had some nachos.
All in all, this was a 3 star experience. I know this place is new and they are likely working out all of the kinks. I plan on stopping by again, in the hopes to raise my review. If you have the opportunity stop by and prove my review wrong and let me know.... hopefully I just caught them on...
Read moreWanted to try this place with all the hype on social media. Let me tell you the price we paid was not worth it! And no, it was not busy, it was a Monday around 4 pm and there was only one other table with a couple and us.
We ordered the parrillada for me and my grama, my sister ordered fajitas and my mom ordered street tacos. We all left disappointed.
The parrillada was.. yes, big but! It was cold, it was bland and most of it was grilled peppers and onions. The chicken was the only good meat.
My sister got the fajitas, left most of it. She said it was not good, plus it had broccoli, who puts broccoli on fajitas? Itâs this place an authentic Mexican restaurant?
Mom only ate 1 taco and left the rest, she said they were cold and bland. Who messed up tacos? She said she rather get tacos at a food truck.
The drinks were good, the waiter was polite and attentive , the place was clean and pleasant.
I wouldnât go back through, thereâs better places for real...
Read moreI very much enjoyed my visit to La Cava Mexican Bar & Grill! I visited this wonderful restaurant with a friend. As soon as we arrived, we were immediately greeted and seated. Our server was so prompt and friendly. We were served delicious chips and salsa right away, as well as our drinks. My friend and I both ordered the Burrito Vallarta, which is a chicken and seafood burrito! đ As shown here, the burrito is HUGE!! I easily took half of it home. It was absolutely AMAZING! Very flavorful with plenty of yummy chicken, shrimp, seafood, and veggies! And I have to say that the rice was also quite fluffy and delicious (coming from someone who normally doesn't care much for the rice, that is a major compliment!). I was very impressed with this restaurant. It was very clean with a warm ambiance, the service was wonderful, and the food was incredible! I have to say that La Cava is one of my new favorite restaurants and I will...
