Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Waterloo

Let me describe my experience to anyone who reads this. Papa John's is my favorite Pizza, but this place fails. THREE times in a row I've ordered a pizza, I never received it. I called the store the first time and they told me that it was checked out, so it'd be there shortly. This was 2 1/2 hours later. An hour later (so now 3 1/2 hours) I called and stated it hadn't been delivered. By this point I said screw it and went out to eat with my friend who was also waiting at my place for this pizza. They had said it was checked out but since it hadn't been delivered, it must have been delivered to the wrong place. They would make me another pizza to deliver (still charging me), and I said to not worry about it, just issue me a refund. I was actually surprisingly nice about it. However, when the girl had gotten her manager to have the refund issued, her manager accused me of lying about the pizza not being delivered and then proceeded to hang up on me. I called back, reamed the manager, and got my refund. The second time I called after 2 hours and they asked if my address was correct. When they read it to me, yes, it was correct. Their response was "Well then you've had to have gotten it." And the 3rd time, I just straight up asked for a refund, told the manager to contact her driver so she didn't have to waste her time coming out again. She promised she would but sure enough the driver called and was there with my pizza, 4 hours later. Ha, no. When I told the driver that I had told the manager to call her, and stated the managers name, the driver laughed, said "she is such a horrible evil manager, it doesn't surprised me." Tonight. I had the best experience I've ever had with the pizza delivery placde. So it's 12:30 AM and there's cops everywhere in my neighborhood they're looking for a suspect that had ran from them. We didn't know that until a cop literally stopped and talked to us. I had went out thinking that 1 of my neighbor's houses or something was on fire.Because of the amount of sirens I was hearing. I was literally standing outside trying to figure out what was going on. He Happened to just pull up and at park across the street and down the street at a neighbor's house. Because he didn't know if he could even get to me. I was in the process of calling the store to tell them to cancel my order. Because I didn't know if they could get to me under the circumstances. And he walked the 2 or 3 houses down to me. Asked me my address with such-and-such and I said yep it is, and he's like. This is crazy with what's going on and he was super sweet. I gave him a great tip. He was awesome. They went way over and beyond. He could have just stopped when he's seen the first 2 or 3 cops, but there are literally probably 30 cops 40 cops in my neighborhood right now he still brought and attempted to get it to me. My driver name goes by Zee or Z He was Awesome! Thank you so much. I literally have been baking for like 6 hours for some funraiser stuff and all I wanted was hot food that I didn't have to cook youm have no idea how much you made my night.I even called his store and told the manager about how awesome he was doing what he did especially under those circumstances. Ordered pizzas to be picked up. The online did not offer me carryout option. Went thru phone service. Asked for 4 garlic sauces 1 spicy garlic. They guy placing order switched it to 4 spicy garlics and this is after he repeated order which he said 4 regular garlic and 1 spicy. He offered us special for 6.99 of garlic parmesian chicken wings. I said yes and double cook the wings. He put it in as garlic parmesian bites and than they still gave me garlic knots. Now we didn't notice this last night because my husband left for work and I just put them in fridge. Today he took them out and asked if I ordered garlic knots instead of wings. I called today to talk with manager and she said "that's the customer service line all we can do as a store is say sorry" and she told me we got the garlic parmesian chicken bites. I went looked at the items and there was no bites, no chicken no meat. It was garlic knots. So save your money and time...
