I ate here with my parents and right from the start our server who was named Paris was chewing gum while she was greeting us at our table. She didn't seem to know the booze they served which is understandable but she started to assume a lot of things through out our time there. At first we just overlooked some stuff like her not telling us that it was pepsi when we ordered coke and small things like that. However upon receiving our food, almost all of our orders were wrong and the food was so very underwhelming. My dad ordered the club sandwich with fries and a cup of french onion soup, simple enough, she brought out the soup before the meals like we expected but when my dad got his sandwich there was no fries. When he asked, she said that she thought he was substituting the fries with the soup, if he was why would you bring the soup out before he got his sandwich if he wanted it as his side. Then my mom's meal came and somehow half the sandwich she ordered was burnt and the other half was soggy and cold, and her side of mac and cheese was so gross that we both couldn't even swallow it, it was cold and watery as well as very salty. Then my meal, I asked for the Lake Erie Yellow Perch with a side of hand-cut fries and broccoli. She gave me the perch sandwich, which only comes with fries but still gave me the broccoli. The broccoli was cold and dry and hurt my jaw when i tried to eat it from how tough it was, the sandwich was cold... a fried fish sandwich was cold as well as my fries which also were hard. The best part of the meal was probably the french onion soup which was at best mediocre. We were all very disappointed because this used to be a place that we loved to go to considering how great the food used to be, as well as the service and atmosphere, however it sucked that the server behind us seemed to care about their patrons much more then ours did. For an example, she had a very warm reception for the people sat behind us and made sure to show them the specials and checked up on them many times asking them how everything was or if they needed a refill on a drink. Our server only checked in with us when she was trying to take our order and never came back to ask how we were enjoying our food, not sure if we caught her on an off day or not but was very dissatisfied with our...

The food was great. The service was almost perfect. The problem was that I was about to be over-charged. Not a big deal. I told the server about it and he said that he left the charge on because otherwise he would have charged me even more. After such treatment, I don't even want an apology because I don't know that I can trust it. I ask for nothing, except that you would make sure others customers are treated better.

Reply to response from owner: I got a premium instead of a potato add bacon and cheese. The former costs less than the latter according to the prices on the menu and the receipt. The only way I wasn't lied to is if it is your normal business practice to make someone pay full price for a premium side even if they are replacing a regular side that is already included in the price of the main dish. I give y'all the benefit of the doubt that you guys have the ability to make it an upcharge or that you are forward about not substituting sides. I'll change it to a 5 instead of a 1.
