Mikey's ice cream — Restaurant in Watervliet Township

Wow, I'm happy we gave this place a try. We're really picky with ice cream and this place is a hidden gem. There ice cream is actual ice cream. They don't use artificial flavoring (which we found most places in the area do). We got a pistachio milkshake and a mocha chocolate milkshake as well. It was delicious! 😋 The staff was super friendly as well. We will be back very soon.

*I want to note that I still love their ice cream but unfortunately their price increase has drove us away. It used to be $7 for a 12 oz milkshake with whipped cream and now they have raised it to $9. So sad that we can't frequent...

While driving through from Kalamazoo, we searched for some food options and saw this little shop. It's a shame it's located off a dead end road it seems, because the friendly employees and the quality of ice cream is deserving of more attention. My family got the hot fudge sundae (don't sleep on the vanilla ice cream!) the peach ice cream, chocolate coconut with hot fudge and Oreo ice cream. All tastes great! Best ice cream around here…. And probably in all of Michigan! Made in house ice cream. The portions are very generous and the staff is extremely nice. They make you feel like you are part of the family.

If you need a last minute dessert, they have ice cream pies. We’ve bought them several times and they were always a big hit!

They also have a dairy free selection of ice cream/sorbet. I’ve tried them and it tastes just like the dairy version!! No wonky after taste.
