We decided to give this restaurant a try. We went in for a late lunch, it was technically considered dinner time, around 3:30pm. After the experience that we had, I am now not shocked that we were the only people in the restaurant. For two adults and two toddlers, our bill ended up being over $40. We were sat down across from a booth that had boxes of bananas. After being sat, several people came out from the kitchen and started walking around the food tables. When I went to get my first plate, I had noticed most of the food looked like it had been sitting for awhile. There were shrimp that looked dried out even though they were in water. There was a 3/4 piece of salmon that looked like someone half shredded it. There were cocktail weiners that my toddlers wanted to try.. the bread on them was hard. My two year old, who I call a garbage disposal because he eat EVERYTHING, spit the hotdog out of his mouth and said "yucky". Both toddlers eat cocktails weiners a fortnight. Even the macaroni and cheese was dried out. I was so upset for my kids. I ended up giving them Jello and fruit: strawberries and oranges. It was the only edible thing for them.
There were several chicken options that were edible: honey chicken, orange chicken, teriyaki chicken and chicken with broccoli. I found it very odd when several people came from the back and walked around the food after we entered. There was only one employee in the front. Three older ladies and one older man walked around the entire time we were getting food. It was like we were being watched. It made the experience uneasy and made us feel uncomfortable. Our hostess sat at a booth near us and played on her phone the entire time.
The food was underwhelming, and there weren't many options. The service was underwhelming. The atmosphere was uneasy.
I'm just being honest, like every review I've ever written. We went here hoping to enjoy it. We will not eat here again. The seafood and fish sit out way too long and I'm genuinely surprised no one has...
Read moreThey wear the masks under their chins not over there nose. They need new booth seats. They have most of them taped together. I sat in 1 and got the sticky tape on my jeans. They have there kids there running around, playing their games to loud. Need someone there who speaks English. Most of the food tray pans were empty. The ice cream scoop sits in dirty water. We seen a kid lick off the scooper and put it in the ice cream. We told the cashier and she said oh. Don't think she understood what I was saying about it. They sit and watch you eat, like your stealing the food. 1 of them argue with me about my Granddaughter's age. I know how old she is. But when the lady says "how old" I tell her 2. Then the lady says "oh ya I bet she...
Read moreI never rate this low.. But I tried it for the first time today. There are a ton of options. It's cheap.. But honestly.. It's some of the worst restaurant food I've eaten.. In I.. Well I can't even think of something to compare it to. I only gave 2 stars instead of one because a. I feel horrible saying this and 2. The banana pudding was good. I would've been happier only eating that.. And nothing else. I tried a little of alot of the food. So it's not just a few things that aren't good.. Just saying. But if you're starving and have $12. Go get the banana pudding. Lol again, I apologize.. I feel like I shouldn't review this with this low of a rating. But I felt I should also be honest about bad experiences along with my...
