If I could give 0 stars for the experience I had with Michelle the manager I truly would. Not sure how the subordinates under her act more professional then she the “boss” who cockily tilts her hat that has the magnet specifically saying “boss” to the side for customers to see while giving them the worst customer service in history. been coming to this location for years, never had a rude experience until Michelle took my order. Ironically she turned her hat to the side to show off her “boss” magnet on it and come to find out the only employee at the location with the least amount of people skills and customer service is the manager. I truly do not leave reviews like this unless the service has been inappropriate or negligent especially with my toddler son being present while she’s behaving this way. This location has always been successful because they have friendly employees. It’s a shame the overall experience is going down due to the inexperienced manager driving customers away with her attitude. This isn’t that big of a deal but when we went back to have the subs fixed & only took the ones that were wrong back in, we ended up having to take all three to prove it was wrong. The blonde girl with tattoos on her neck refused to look at our receipt & was flat out rude. She didn’t even stop to listen to what we were saying. She kept denying that the subs were wrong as if I didn’t know what I ordered. They ended up opening all of our subs to check if they were really wrong, which is ridiculous because I wouldn’t be getting anything out of lying, then remade them after we had to explain how each of the subs were supposed to be. Read moreI always have a pleasant experience at Subway in Wauconda. The staff is very efficient and friendly. They have memorized what my husband and I order, so the sandwiches are prepared quickly and exactly as we order them. I like that I can get spinach instead of iceberg lettuce if I want it.
