Norm's Pub — Restaurant in Waukee

This is one of our favorite places to hang out. So why the one star? They have signs outside that they have 3 happy hours daily, yes daily & one inside. We pointed it out to the bar tender and rather than honor it she went and took it down, telling other customers "they are making me take it down" pointing to us. We were sitting at the bar so awkward!! Then she ignored us and the other gal took care of us. After paying our bill we were taking a selfie and the one who ignored us came over and told us to leave because we were taking pictures of her...What? Weird way to end our date...

Looks like a cool place, but not really. Nothing on tap. Cans and bottles only for beer. Too much second hand smoke. Standing at the bar to get a drink (only person) literally had to raise my hand to get the bartender to acknowledge me. She was looking right through me while I stood there. Nice pool table and dart area with a pickle ball court outside. They seem to consider the back area a smoking area as there are ashtrays everywhere and folks knew to smoke there.
