Normally, I would rate this place higher, but today was exceptionally horrible. If I could rate it zero, I would. First and foremost I am completely applauded by the level of servicehi and biased treatment I received by the GM named Monica. First of all, I waited in the drive through nearly thirty minutes. I had not placed an order so I decided to go inside and place an order. When I walked in, the place wasn't that busy that justified that long of a wait. Anyhow Monica finished an order and then she took mine. I asked her if she and the other girl were the only two working because i had been waiting a while in drive through. She said yes they were. Well I ordered. Monica then walked over to the sink and started washing all the blender containers and parts. I looked over and the other worker was waiting on drivethru customers. So I waited another fifteen minutes inside while she washed the equipment. I finally spoke up and asked for a refund...politely mind you. Monica yelled at me and said I'm making it now. I responded and said I dont want it I didn't want to wait another minute. I told her she could have made it sooner instead of washing all the equipment. She yelled again and said, "I told you I am making it now!" I repeated thanks but I will take a refund instead. She continued to yell and ask why do I want a refund when she was making it? Again I told her I would like a refund. She yelled and said, Well, you are going to have to wait a while. I have customers to wait on!!" I responded and said, Wow, you are going to make me wait even longer? And she told me yes! So, I told her that we come to this location 2 to 3 times a week and have never been treated like this.Then she yelled "Why are you harassing me?" I still remained calm and told her by asking for a refund is not harassment. She continued to yell. She said I was harassing her. I told her I'd record it..She did all the yelling. I remained calm. At this point when she realized I was recording, she walks over to the register and yells, "Give me your receipt!" I I formed her she hadn't given me the receipt. She murmured something as she was pushing buttons on the computer. I asked her who the owner was. She said Carol in missouri.Then she snatched her phone and went to the back room. She was prancing back and forth.The other worker chimed in and said you're harassing us! I told her I'm not saying or doing anything I would like a refund and I dont want to argue about it. So I went outside and called the police to come and mediate while I get my refund. Not one time did I raise my voice. But they yelled at me the entire time, once I asked for the refund. Not one time did I disrespect her. But yet I was disrespected and made out to be an aggressor when Monica clearly portrayed herself in an unprofessional manner. Police came. I finally got my refund. And then get this...police asked me..per Monica not to ever come back to that location that she was banning me. I asked the police why???? What did I do? I told him I live in the area and we are regular customers. I told him I wasn't a troublemaker and I didn't start trouble with her. I simply asked for a refund. I'm sorry this review is so long. But I am hurt, embarrassed and applaulled that a person can get so angry and flip the script for no reason. She clearly profiled me and treated me accordingly. I've never been so humiliated or had an experience to this magnitude. I just wonder if I didn't take the initiative to call the police myself, would the outcome have been different? Would they have taken her side and believed her lies and arrested me??? I've never had a record, been arrested, never ever been disorderly or had the police called on me, ever. I am acollege educated professional and would never conduct myself in such a manner. I came home just stunned and in disbelief of what transpired. I found out the place is locaI owned by G. Jensen. No I’m not one of those people that gets angry having to wait 2 minutes to get my smoothies, I get angry when it takes 11 whole minutes just to place an order at smoothie king. Yes I understand it can get busy sometimes and it can get slow, but every time I’ve come here there’s been at least four workers making smoothies and it still takes forever. We just waited to get two smoothies through the drive thru and one person behind us and three people in front of us pulled out and left. And going inside isn’t any better. Also every time i come here I order the same smoothie but it’s always tasting different and always has a different consistency. Again, my family and I like the smoothies but they need to figure out a better system to fix...
Read moreVery pleased with the workers n environment here. I come about three times a week after my workout always so friendly and helpful. I am wowed each visit to see such young teens/ adults running a store so smoothly. Normally the store is consistently busy but the girls do seem to keep up. earlier late evening I came and it was a bit longer wait than usual. When I was greeted at the window first thing was an apology for the wait (which is rare nowadays to get an apology) I was handed a buy1get1 coupon for next time.
