El Sabrocito Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Waukegan

Stopped in on my way home from work to pick up something for dinner. Ordered a burrito with rice. The burrito only comes with beans and cheese, all other fillings add $1.00/filling. I added lettuce and tomato. The food was prepared fairly quickly and my total cost was $14.00. When I arrived home and began to eat I found the burrito wrapped very loosely and the meat was spilling out. I also noticed that I couldn't see ANY cheese or beans. As I bit into it there definitely was NO cheese and perhaps a tablespoon dollop of beans. The asada was nice and tender but basically lacked flavor. As for the rice it was obviously GOYA Mexican mix boxed riced and it was watered down with nearly no flavor. Perhaps I have been spoiled by the burritos at Lomeli's in RLB on Cedar Lake Road. But I will not return to...

I gave it 1 star for the fact tht it was actually made with smallest little pieces of Carne Asada..The 2 burritos we ordered...were made on the smaller flour tortilla burrito,they only add lettuce and beans,the cilantro,onion,cheese you've to request and it's extra expensive for the size you get...The size is exactly the amount of 3 of those new small street tacos tht use the smallest tortillas.. LEAVING YA HUNGRY OR HANGRY..😕.MY REVIEW IS DON'T BOTHER TO WASTE YOUR MONEY THE FOOD IS VERY BLAND...

Order delivered quickly, competitive prices, food quality good but still see some room for improvement, however, customer service was superior, therefore, leaving rating for this place 5 stars even when food is not there yet.
