Absolutely delicious spot! Authentic Birria, full of flavor, and sweet ladies working the front. Our server helped thoroughly explain how to order/ figure out what I wanted because I initially was just going to order birria, but what I really wanted was birria tacos Jalisco style- Jalisco style is cheesy and fried/ crunchy tacos. I almost accidentally ordered it soft/ regular by saying tacos de birria, luckily she asked how I wanted them! Lol. Regular is soft corn tortilla, which btw, their corn tortillas are nice and thick, you can definitely tell they’re made in house! We ordered a side of rice (no beans), 2 carne asada- grilled steak tacos, and 2 al pastor- grilled pork tacos with sour cream, and my birria tacos estillo Jalisco with the cosume/ broth on the side! They have both goat and beef, I opted for goat, you can ask for a mix of both, but I like goat because It’s more authentic/ gives that slight gamey flavor. All in all, super delicious place I will be stopping by again when I get the craving for some authentic yums! Upon reading some of these comments, my consensus is some people just need to learn how to order. I almost made the same mistake because I’m used to my gentrified way of ordering, but the cliché birria tacos we are used to is in fact Jalisco style- because thats how they normally prepare tacos- not only birria, in Jalisco. Our waitress did not come back, not for a while.. Then a lady that was mopping, brought a plate for us without washing her hands… At the same time, she didn’t bring us a spoon a good thing.. The same lady, I didn’t see your washing her hands and then brought us Styrofoam plates for the food to go… I bought an extra 12 pack of tortillas and they only gave us nine… I came back in to claim the other three…. The ladies counted and yes, there was nine.. And the cook, which I believe is the owner got so upset he banged his hand on the countertop… Made things very uncomfortable.. But I stood my ground, cause I didn’t do nothing wrong… The cook was very unprofessional that even the other customers realized that He had raised his voice… It turned out that the girls took the wrong package instead of giving me the 12 pack. I bought from this place yesterday. So I bought the food kinda early (Chivo Birria) and when I got home my mom said the meat smelled weird . But I personally can’t smell so I ate it along with all my family except my daughter (she’s picky) Anyways I go to work and around 10pm I start to feel all weak , I'm pale , and I kid you not during work hours I literally spent 2hours in the toilet not being able to move from how much my tummy hurt . Anyways when I finally felt a lil better I was kinda able to drive my way home with a couple stop to each gas station i saw that night . So when I arrive home I really needed the toilet . But guess what. The top one was taken by my brother and the downstairs bathroom by my boyfriend . Both having the same issue as me .
