Mo's Dogs — Restaurant in Waupaca

First, i will say the food is great. As far as being able to get chicago type food in small town Wisconsin you really can't beat that. However, keep in mind tomato wedges on the chicago dog are huge and shouldn't be quite that large. Being hubs is from chicago and sampled his fair share he would know, but otherwise was very happy with it. Cheese fries were amazing. Best cheese sauce hands down. He especially loved the rueben wrap. It wasn't what i expected based on photos they have on their site, but it was really tasty. Deep fried smores is not as advertised on website. They're essentially marshmallows inside an egg roll/wonton wrapper fried with choco sauce on top. You only get 2 for 3.50, not a great price for something that costs about .25ish to make. Ice cream was good. Green apple didn't taste like green apple, but the bubblegum was spot on.. Now to get to my real disappointment with the place. We waited 45 minutes for our food. We had ordered online so i didn't know what was going on, but nobody checked on us for 40 minutes. When they finally did she informed us that their online ordering wasn't workint correctly, which whatever, but you let us sit there for 40 minutes while other people came in and out repeatedly. The parking lot was even empty except for us at one point and still no one asked us if we'd been taken care of. Don't advertise on your restaurant or website that you do online orders if you don't or if it's not working or at the very least be mindful that people do use that form of payment and you should check on them. Funky little hotdog stand with lots of options. This is our first time so decided to judge their dogs by ordering a couple Chicago's. The dogs were good, all the ingredients were there from the bright green relish to the onions, tomatoes, peppers and dill spear. It came with mustard, no ketchup, all on point but the bun was problematic, it was not steamed, it was not soft and wonderful... It was cold and stale! If not for this I would happily give 5 stars. Maybe they forgot to steam it? I will try again next visit. They have a great selection of dogs to try. Ordered cheesey bacon ranch fries, they are good maybe try them with Jalapeños next time. We also ordered fried pickles, not chips but spears. The pickle lacked any pickle taste? Like all the briney goodness wasn't there. Too bad. We will be back and with reinforcements, our boys, to try more options off their menu. The ice cream looked good but didn't have any room. Seating for three inside, lots of outside seating. Parking is weird, looks like you just pull in however and hope when you are ready to go that you can get your car out. Ohhh, they make potato chips!!! We will get those next time too.... Kind of feel like going...

Worst experience ever. Ordered 2 strawberry cherry fudge sundae with extra of all three and a cake batter ice cream cone. The ice cream was running everywhere on one of the sundaes another customer had to open the door because the ice cream was dripping everywhere. Got in the car and within seconds Ice cream was pour all over our lap center counsel and seat on the second sundae because the strawberries were so hot they were melting the ice cream so fast. They didn’t double anything but the ice cream when I did not ask for double the amount of ice cream. The cake batter ice cream cone was not cake batter flavored, three people tried it no one could taste anything besides vanilla. I will...
