To be fair, I was there after peak hours and you could tell there wasn't much for staff left in the kitchen, and at 8:30 at night, sure, the food might be dry. Normally, I'd overlook that kind of thing, as it was my error to wait until 8:30 pm to find somewhere to eat. The reason I lacked patience for the quality of the food or the service? There was a young couple at the table across from me, on their first date. (I was there alone and it was quiet, so I couldn't help but overhear their conversation much of the time) and when a group of people left, one person, who'd clearly been overserved, stayed behind and migrated over to the couple's table. They sat there offering the young man a job at some contracting company, over and over and became rude when the younger man showed his lack of interest in leaving his current job. Eventually, the couple boxed up their food, had grown outspokenly annoyed at the behavior, and left, while the intoxicated customer sat there at the table. They approached me as I was leaving, as well, but I was politely dismissive and avoided enduring the same behavior and left. The bartender, the waitress, and someone at the bar with a laptop who seemed to know everyone on duty, all stood by and did nothing while someone, who they shouldn't even have been serving, ruined that poor couple's date. I normally keep to myself, but the whole scene happened 8 ft away, and I sincerely hope that it becomes a funny story those people tell later, but I doubt they'll be telling it at this establishment. I recently visited a super club and had a generally wonderful experience. The ambience was fantastic, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. However, the music didn't quite match the vibe, which was a bit disappointing. Despite that, the food was exceptional! The dishes were delicious, and the food came out before the buns, which was a nice touch. My mom ordered her steak medium, but it came out rare, which was a bit of a letdown. However, the waiter was incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome. The salad bar was impressive, offering a wide variety of fresh options. The New York strip was perfectly cooked and flavorful, and the baked potato was just right. The bathrooms were clean, which is always a plus. Ordered the Prim Rib Medium. The steak came Gray and was gray all the way through. Very well done. The steak was just warm and appeared to be reheated. The broccoli was over cooked to the point of mush. No seasoning on the steak or veggies. The baked potato was the size of a tangerine and appeared to be over baked and reheated. The skin was tough and not tasteful. There were only 5 tables seated in the dinning room and two servers. It took almost 20 minutes for one of the servers to acknowledge us after walking past us at least 10 times. I should have sent the food back.
