Wayland Variety & Deli — Restaurant in Wayland

I didn't even order a hoggie, grinder, sub, or anything else for my self when I was there, but I'll tell ya, the large Italian sub I ordered for my dad, had to have weighed at least a pound or more and not full of soggy wilted veggies.. Boars Head meats are in my top 3 for quality And that's pretty much all I saw in the glass case where you order your food. The prices were more than reasonable considering it's rather pricey location. The place was pretty busy. I could tell it was a good place when I saw all the Lawn Jockey's pulling in for their lunch breaks, from the grass cutting profession. A lawn stylist can work up a hearty demanding appetite. The two guys blasting out the goods were fast efficient and laughingly robotic while still paying close attention to who was already taken care of and the new customers filing through. The store is tiny but folks seemed to know the lack of standing room has nothing to do with the service and quality of there products. I highly recommend you try it even though I have not. Awesome subs! Bores Head meat can't be beat! Lol that rhymes. I always get the Italian, my wife the BLT sometimes they're a little light on the amount of bacon, that's the only negative. This is the local convenience store in Wayland center where everybody in the surrounding towns and also Wayland go for either snacks or drinks you can buy beer or wine there and they have a deli where they make great subs and sandwiches!! everybody that works there is always welcoming they always have a smile on their face and they'll always offer you options.
