Cook Out — Restaurant in Waynesboro

UPDATE: I called one last time and I finally got ahold of the GM, Shawn, I told him everything and is willing to give me a refund or remake my meal for free. Thank you Shawn!

I went there a couple months ago and our food wasn’t fresh, I gave them another shot today cause I genuinely like cookout. Meaghan was our cashier she took our order right but the time we got home, whom ever prepared it didn’t get it correct. I asked for 6 toppings on my burger and I only get lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise and I didn’t even ask for mayonnaise, and they made the other sandwich the same way. Our milkshakes wasn’t made all the way, all the flavoring was in the middle and vanilla on the sides. Oh and my favorite part is when I called to tell them about it the lady that answered TRIED TO HANG UP but failed at doing so cause I can hear everything that was going on in the back ground. Great service, real potatoes for the fries, excellent burger the first 2-3 times I went there. The last 2 times were pretty lousy. My first bad experience, I was given a very small elongated oval burger on a bun with half a slice of tomato and tiny piece of lettuce wadded up in a ball of aluminum foil. The burger tasted like very old, rancid grease that had at one time gone up in flames-really bad. My small fries bag was only half filled. I returned a week later, spoke with the manager who gave me a free "tray" meal. It was no better than the last one. They forgot the mayo. Tomato was green and fibrous. I asked for fries and onion rings as my 2 sides. I was given 4 small-medium onion rings. If I had been paying for it, I would not have accepted it. I took my grandmother said this cookout on the way back to West Virginia for my house and it was filthy. I was so embarrassed because we could not find one table that was clean therefore we had to clean our own table and I had ordered chili cheese fries and when we got to the table and I opened my chili cheese fries they only had chili on them. I had to walk backup to the counter and ask the girl to please put cheese on my fries then she proceeded to tell me that I had to pay $.90 And I said well the only fries that you have is cheese fries or chili and cheese so why would I have to pay to add cheese to my fries when it should already come with it and she proceeded to tell me I don't worry about it.
