The food here is typically pretty good quality. Breakfast burritos here are the bomb. I could literally eat one every morning. The reason that follow are why this is a four star review. I've never had a bad experience, however my order has been wrong a few times. It you want a sauce that should normally come with your order remember to ask for it. They will not bring it with your order. Overall, the food usually pretty good quality for fast food. The service is usually very good and you will get your order in roughly 5-7 minutes. Sometimes the service is slower after 8 pm but in my opinion that is to be expected at restaurant as closing time draws near. Another thing to beware of is that if you enjoy slushes or other frozen drinks (not including ice cream products) during happy hour they will not be as good as they would be at other times. Because here at this Sonic I was served the wrong burger, which wasn't warm enough to melt the cheese slice on top, and there was an excessive amount of each condiment given the burger's small size.
The tater tots were crispy, which was a plus, but they were only warm, bordering on cold. The strawberry cheesecake shake was enjoyable, but it lacked strawberries (although I’m not sure if they still include them in their shakes) and appeared somewhat sad—not the cheerful shake you expect.

Read moreMy fiance and I came to Sonic in Waynesboro and used the carhop station. After pressing the button, we waited for 20 minutes without anyone taking our order over the speaker. We watched 6 cars receive their orders and leave, 3 of which arrived after us and after we pressed the button at our stall. We tried to get a couple of carhops' attention but either they couldn't hear us or they ignored us. We tried pressing the button a couple of more times still with no reply. The message on the screen stating "red button pressed. We'll be with you shortly" was still displaying when we decided to leave and eat elsewhere. We were at station #8.
