Tlaquepaque Tequila Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Weathersfield Township

My husband I gad dinner there last night and it was more than I’d hope for. As I’m a Mexican & a transplant from California I’m accustomed to the flavors & foods of Mexican culture. That being said everything we had was a delicious reminder of back home in California and Mexico. My husband & I agreed on 1)the street tacos, rice & beans w/6 options. 2) unbelievable portions-no skimping on portions 3) the service we received from Angel, Jackson & Lalo was spot on! Every part of our dining there was a⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ experience. Sunday, Oct. 5th was our first time at Tlaquepaque. My wife and I were thrilled with the food and the service. The only advice I would give tequila lovers is to not get the large margaritas because that are fairly diluted. That may work for most people, but I prefer to taste my tequila in my margaritas, and the more robust the better for me. This drives home the old adage that a bigger margarita doesn't necessarily translate to better. Regardless, I highly recommend this establishment for tasty authentic Jalisco style Mexican food. This was my first visit and definitely won’t be my last! I travel extensively and frequent a diverse selection of dining establishments. This place is just getting off the ground so I left some room for adjustments regarding service & atmosphere. The food however gets an instant 5 stars. It’s authentic!! Especially the rice & refried beans. Salsa was spicy. Chips smelled freshly made. Dinner was sizzling hot, prepared in under 10 minutes & piled high on the plate. Prices are affordable.
