Webster location not recommended for parties of more than 8 people
I reserved a few courts, equipment, & dined (in-restaurant) after with a party of 20. Initially, I requested a reservation on their website, via their “start your party planning” option. Their website advertises dining sections are available for reservation for parties of 15+ (we had a party of 20), but their Sales Account Manager, Shannon, reached out, prior to the event, to notify me via email, that this does not apply to their location (they do not offer reservations or party/dining plans for events or large groups) - screenshotted email included in pics. The kids that were working here were great. Very professional, polite indoor court hosts & great dining hostess, although the order counter staff (two teenagers, one who was attempting to train the other who was 1st day on the job) were not equipped to handle 20 different food orders all at once (do NOT throw your receipt away if you are ordering a lot of food - they will offer a garbage can to throw your receipt(s) in after you include a tip & sign for a tip - fortunately I kept all of my receipts so when order fulfillment became a mess, proving purchase was not an issue). All 20 people in our party received their meals at different times, over the span of 1 & 1/2 hours. 1/4 of our party did not receive their food at all & each of the missing orders had to be re-entered into the POS. They received their meals after the rest of the party had finished eating. Despite all of this, everyone had a good time & enjoyed the courts & food. We brought a birthday cake from a Texas Cottage Bakery Business (operated by a licensed Texas Food Safety Manager), and upon arrival, the hostess, who was excellent & professional, offered to refrigerate it for us. At the end of the evening when we asked for the cake, the staff brought it to us and we began to eat it. 10 minutes later, a manager (who no one had seen anywhere all night) came out of the woodwork and aggressively asked me if he could speak to me in private. I said sure, but rather than stepping aside to discuss his “private” matter with me, he intensely began ranting about the cake, in front of the entire party of 20 & the other onlooking diners, and said the cake (which everyone was finishing up at this point) needed to be IMMEDIATELY placed in our vehicle because it was a food safety hazard & their establishment ONLY allowed cakes baked by businesses to be brought in. A Certified Food Manager would have been knowledgeable about basic food safety code. Conclusion: Great place to visit if you’re only going with a few people, NOT the place for group events, party/catering planning or large food orders. Great staff & location which unfortunately lacks any professional or competent leadership/management at...
Read moreThis is such an exciting addition to Webster! Typically, the coolest new spots tend to pop up in Katy or The Woodlands, but this time, we've truly hit the jackpot. Whether you’re in the mood for an energetic game of pickleball or seeking a laid-back atmosphere to enjoy a few drinks—be they alcoholic or non-alcoholic—this establishment redefines what a sports grill can be.
The spacious courtyard is a highlight, brimming with free games that invite guests to gather and have fun. You can challenge friends or family to giant Jenga, giant Checkers, giant Battleship, Ping Pong, corn hole, and more! When the weather is beautiful, the garage-style sliding doors open fully, merging the indoors with the outdoor ambiance. On cooler Houston days, the patio remains cozy, thanks to well-placed heaters that ensure warmth without sacrificing the outdoor experience.
For those looking for a quieter spot, the lounge area in the back offers a more intimate setting. With plush seating and a massive screen, it’s perfect for enjoying a game night; during our visit, we watched an exciting dog show that had everyone engrossed! The outdoor lounge chairs are incredibly comfortable and provide a welcoming, homey feel, allowing parents to relax while their children play freely. The courtyard is completely fenced, which eases parents' worries, especially with the nearby Great Wolf Lodge just a short walk away.
The drink menu is impressive, featuring a wide variety of beers, from beloved local brews to classic favorites like Bud Light and Michelob. For those who prefer a non-alcoholic option, their creative mocktails are delicious and provide a fun alternative without sacrificing flavor.
Now let's talk about the food—simply mouthwatering! They smoke their meats in-house, using an oak wood smoker, and this attention to detail elevates the flavor profile of their dishes. Although the menu is straightforward, there’s truly something for everyone, making it easy to find a satisfying meal.
If you're interested in a game of pickleball, be sure to make a reservation online in advance to secure your spot. As for parking, the well-lit lot offers plenty of spaces, ensuring that your visit is as stress-free as possible. Overall, this venue is a fantastic addition to Webster, blending fun, food, and the perfect environment for gathering with...
Read moreDrove 4hrs for the experience. Arrived at 4pm and had a pleasant greeting fr a you g woman and given and a broken down explanation of how it all works since we had not ever been. The bartenders were very hospitable and the staff for the most part were good. A few employees went out of their way to make sure that we had a great time since it was my birthday, I wish I got their names because they were absolutely amazing. When we first arrived we set up our pickle ball reservation for 730pm. So we played just about every game, enjoyed drinks and food until then. We walked into the pickleball area to check in at 720p. The young guy at the counter stated that he would let us know when our court, paddles and ball were ready. We stayed by the counter until 745pm; our reservation was only for 30mins. Throughout this time that we waited we observed this employee scrolling through social media while standing at the counter. There were still people playing on our reserved court. After the people prior to us left I finally went over to the counter and asked, again he was still playing on his phone, the young guy about our court to which he replied as if we had not just spoken. He took us over to our court and I asked how we know what time to get off the court to which he replied “you’re reservation is until 8pm”, I looked at him shocked because by this time it was 750pm. I could not believe what he just told me. So we began to play. At 8:02pm the next group came up with the same employee who was asking us to leave the court. I was again shocked. We explained our frustration but left the court to respect the next party’s reservation. We spoke with the young guy to express our frustration to which he replied that he would remove the court from the bill. After receiving the bill we noticed that the paddles and balls were still on the bill; we asked again for it to be revised, it came back with game supplies still listed after the 3rd revision and a manager override twice it was finally removed from the bill. They offered a free game another day but our trip was already planned so we didn’t have time to come back. By this point it was already 820pm and we were over the experience. It all went so well until the end; we came for the experience and will not be coming back...
