Absolutely "No" cheese on 5 pieces, and only enough pepperoni to cover half of the tray that I ordered, at 2 pieces per slice. After I asked them if the Dicarlo's on the hill was from their shop. I informed them with this information, they stared at me and asked me if I wanted to order something. I said yes, your manager. An older stinky man, approached the counter to ask what I needed, and yes I could smell him. I again told my story simply looking for some apology, acknowledgement, and/or possibly some extra cheese. He said "oh yeah . . . humm", and walked away. The tray I ordered though it did have cheese on every slice, it was sparse, and still had only enough pepperoni to cover barely more than half the tray. As a young man, I worked for several Dicarlo's from delivery to prep. to cook, to temporary manager, in Rayland, Steubenville and Newell. The process was always the same . . . Stretch the dough evenly into the tray, throw in oven, check tray and spin, check tray to be sure it's ready to pull out and sauce, throw back in oven, check tray and spin, pull tray out and cheese it, throw back in oven, pull tray after the cheese has melted, place the tray on prep. area to be cut into slices. When boxing an order for 6 regular, you would place 6 slices per box, sprinkle "cold cheese" over the "hot" pizza slices, place "2" pieces of pepperoni on "each" freshly cheesed slice, place box top and wrap with rubber band. And that my friends is how it's...
Read moreI'm only giving it one star because I have to in order to leave a review. That's being too generous. Never again will we eat here. The girl working there had the foulest attitude I've ever encountered. We ordered a tray for a family gathering, the pizza was literally just sauce and pepperoni ,there's no cheese at all and the bottoms burnt. We called to complain about it and ask if someone just made a mistake and forgot to add cheese or what, and the girl who answered got extremely nasty with me, said she made it herself and proceeded to argue with me until my boyfriend took the phone and said he was bringing it down to be replaced. Did they replace it? NOPE! The nasty girl from the phone took the box from his hands, threw a handful of cold cheese on already cold, burnt pizza, and handed it back to us. Never. Ever. Again. You wanna charge top dollar for pizza, then don't hire less than top notch employees. So now here we are, with a crying, hungry 2 year old who wants pizza, we are out 20 bucks, and have spent the past hour and a half trying to get pizza and even tho we have it now we have to go out and get something else because this box of pizza isn't...
Read moreIn the past few months this restaurant has gone down hill. I hate to post this and I don't know why but the food is not what it used to be and it saddens me. Marios used to be one of my favorite restaurants but I have noticed some changes the last few times we had been here to eat. The antipasta salads aren't what they used to be... Now sometimes you only get pepperoni on it others just salami.. It is hit and miss & at one time you got all the Italian meats on the salad. They have also changed ther creamy Italian dressing which used to be my favorite (it's not as good). Prices have gone up we got charged $4 to add Alfredo sauce to pasta instead of just regular meat sauce. The fried calamari we ordered was also over cooked to where it was just the fried breading. We told the waitress about it and she took it back to get us new which was also burnt so we gave up (not her fault). I am writing this in hopes that a higher up sees it and knows it is hurting the business :( and makes a change back to...
