Betsie River Pizza & Subs — Restaurant in Weldon Township

Awful experience! We've been staying here a few times a year for the last 5 years. Unfortunately the customer service from the pizza shop and the wild tomato restaurant have made it very difficult to give it a good rating. The manager of the pizza and sub shop is very rude! Hopefully you do not have to deal with him. They gave our $60 order to someone else. I witnessed these kids outside on the ground of the sidewalk at night in the winter go through our food. Which I didn't realize at the time was ours. They finally determined it wasn't theirs. So they brought it back and the manager was no help. He expected me to take the cold food that these strangers brought back and be OK with that. At this point he said what do you want me to do about it... I explained, well I wanted dinner for my family but I don't want this cold food that someone else has already taken and went through. At this point he said to the lady behind the counter to call security. Lol. Why I don't know because he couldn't make the situation right. I said good call security. I asked for our money back. They said they would try to credit it to our account later. What a joke. I just wanted my food or my money. The worst customer service we've ever had anywhere. Not sure how he became a manager but just an FYI good luck! Anyway we went off resort...

I don't know what all these people are complaining about.. I thought the pizza was DELICIOUS! People we delt with were just fine. A little pricey for pizza but what do you expect?? You're at a resort you can walk to get dinner! Boneless wings and ranch were really good. My opinion the personal pizzas taste better for some reason. Usually it's the other way around, full pizzas are bomb but personal pizzas lack. Not here. The buffalo chicken personal pizza was SO GOOD!!! I could eat 3 of them. Wish I would have had a chance to try the subs. Next time for sure! No time for photos on this one. Food was gone before I thought about it. This is carry out...

Not sure about the negative ratings maybe it is from the rough times of Covid or something. But the pizza is very good, it is not the best pizza I've ever had, but it is very good. Better than any other hotel pizza I have had and if I lived nearby I would order this pizza.

Guys working in there were nice, greek salad was good, Wings were great.

The wings were actually much better than most pizza places. We really enjoyed their traditional wings.
