While camping at Findley State Park we opted to compliment our breakfast with donuts. The Mad Batter was just a short 3 mile drive up S.R. 58, in the old Home Savings Bank building, in Wellington, Ohio. Deanna and Christian were warm and welcoming. Donut gave me indigestion tasted like grease. Shouldn't be tasting a donut all day. Was hoping the new owners would create a better product. Walmart donuts are better which is sad.

insanely delicious and authentic! i worked at a different well-renowned lorain county bakery, and a majority of their inventory was frozen and came from factories. i can tell fresh from frozen baked goods, and this place is definitely all fresh and homemade. not only is it homemade, but it's delicious in every way. i have yet to dislike anything they offer in-store, and i look forward to visiting wellington just for this shoppe! i recommend mad batter to anyone with a sweet tooth, because you WILL...
