Raymond's Tacos — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

This place only gets my 2 stars for customer service. The guy who took my order was funny and nice. The food needs alot of TLC it supposed to be authentic and looks like of authentic but does not taste authentic. I believe because it's on the west side serving BIPOC communities that their customers don't know any better on eating what good tacos can taste like. I'm Hispanic and can tell they soak their steak in some season water to keep it moist. Then they toss it on the grill to heat it up to serve. They don't use any other kind of cheese except Mexican cheese that they place in between two tortillas. Almost sounded good until you bite into it. If you are hungry and desperate for that taco craving its really your only choice until you go further south into Pilsen or little village. Old review: This place has the GREATEST Mexican food I’ve ever tried in this side of chicago. Raymond’s tacos has multiple locations and I suggest going to blue island but this location doesn’t disappoint. They’re food to price quality is OUT of this world. Amazing customer service and great food.

New review: this place has gone downhill since I’ve last gone here. It’s been a while so I wasn’t sure if they’d change. The burrito I got had extra meat for 3 dollars. Raymond's tacos used to be some of the best tacos you can get now. They are the most expensive overrated tacos on the west side of Chicago. Not to mention that they are so money grubbing that their price has changed five times in the last 8 months. And then they have the nerves to charge you a 4% card tax. And if that's not worse enough.
