Ordered pepper steak, I ask then to go very easy on the onions and peppers, which they didn't....it was 90% onions and peppers, hardly and steak, very disappointing, especially because I hadn't eaten anything all day and was really looking forward to it, I couldn't even eat it, even the rice tasted stale. Read moreFirst time visiting AW1. The gentleman in the front is very nice and kind. But not a great food experience. I always start with some wonton soup. This one had good flavor but wontons were pretty mushy and the gave me a bag with 6 1/2 fried noodles. Lol. But I will say the guy felt bad and gave me another bag. Even he looked at it like dang. Lol. So now onto the real stuff. The pork fried rice was undercooked and very bland. Next, the chicken fried rice was very bland, undercooked and dry chicken. We also ordered fried dumplings that were greasy and burnt but the inside pork filling was good. Onto the beef lomein which was ok but not anything I will order again. My kid did enjoy the sweet and sour chicken but not the dipping sauce which is usually a favorite. Finally, I ordered general tso chicken and that was ok, not the worst I've had...
Read moreFirst of all they gave us the wrong order. We ordered Wonton soup, egg rolls and large spare ribs. We got Wonton, General Tso's chicken and pork fried rice. The pork fried rice was pretty good (was no substitute for the spare ribs and egg rolls we were looking forward to though). Did not give us fried noodles. Not one packet of sauce of any kind in bag. I don't get the great reviews, there must be a lack of really good Chinese food in this area. This was like food court Chinese food. ...
