IMHO this is the worst store in the chain. Unfortunately, this is the one closest to my house so we have to suffer for that. I typically just go further to the Paulsboro store in order to avoid the headaches. What is this store bad? When you order food, you know how the machine always tries to upsell you by adding on to your order? You know...Add bacon, cranberries, or even another ladle of chipped beef or sausage gravy. Yeah, good luck getting that! Since the registers are on other side of store you can't watch them make your food. It comes packaged and ready to go. You get to your destination, like work or home, only to find no bacon, or no cranberries or no extra ladle. Nada! Oh you PAID for it, but you didn't get it. For my family, over a year time period, this store beat us for the upsell items more times then they got it right. I've called corporate and it doesn't really change the issue. Hence the move to Paulsboro store. If you like coffee, Wawa is there to serve you! Coffee is clearly the profit maker. If you would like a carbonated fountain beverage, good luck. That ridiculous Coke machine is always out of something at this store. That aren't going to fill it because apparently you need nuclear weapon launch codes to change out the syrups. Employees run away from it with the "I don't know how to do it" spook in their eyes. That machine has been down for periods of 4-5 days at a time over the last year. Aside from that, the store is ok. Most employees are nice. You sort of figure out who the nasty employees are. Just look at their faces at the register or food counter. Read moreNormally I have no complaints about Wawa, but today I was surprised, and a bit disappointed in the customer service at this Wawa. I don't usually use this one, and will not likely go back. As I was counting out my change for my soda, the cashier says "I'm holding out my hand, you need to put the change in there." I was put off for a minute, because I was counting, and just responded "I'm just counting out my change". Then she shot me a haughty look, and held her hand in my face straight out. I just laughed, but after driving away I realized that I've never experienced anything like this at a Wawa before. Usually their customer service is really good. It prompted me to write this review.
