Dew Drop Inn — Restaurant in West Glacier

Came in August 19th after our flight into Montana. The food was out of this world. We have a group of 5 all amazing meals. Ordered the Garlic parm fries they were out of this world. I have never tasted anything like it in my life. Also I ordered the chicken fried steak; again out of this world. I planned to get it again before my flight home. Then August 21st we came in again and we ordered the same things. The fries were not even comparable and neither was the rest of the food. Everything still good but the chef Monday was out of this world amazing. Thursday we came in again and were sad to see the kitchen closes at 8. We were close all nights to barely catching the kitchen. We will refer and rave about this place but we hope they keep consistency with chefs and keep the kitchen open a little longer.

What a fantastic place to stay, which was only about 8 minutes from West Glacier. We rented through Airbnb, and check-in was a breeze as the doors and bathrooms have a code lock. This is a very simple cabin, so it is like camping. No TV, no big kitchen, no attached bathroom (there's a bathhouse which has an amazing shower and great toilets). Many different cabins, and each are named after the different places in Glacier National Park.

Dew drop inn is also such a vibe. Bartenders were beyond friendly, and they made one of the best margaritas I've had ever. You also get a free drink token if you are an Airbnb guest. The girl behind the bar and taking orders needs serious training. You order at the bar, each and every order was put on computer screen, looked like 90 buttons to push for chicken strips and fries alone. Then you pay, the till is at opposite end of the bar, so she slowly walked down there to ring up sale. 16 of us in our group, no sense of urgency on her part to hustle. Food was great, two orders came out at a time. We will not go back!!! One carful of us had eaten and left before 2nd carful even got their food! I had called a week before to see if they still had fish and chips, I was told yes, we went for that reason, only to be told they did...
