We have eaten here a few times. We even had our wedding reception dinner here in 2017 as well. But has been awhile since last meal. Was worth the wait! The $1 oysters were delicious! Started with 12, and wanted more for desert but were sold out. I had the rack of lamb as entree and wife had crab cakes. Mine was cooked to perfection with no special sauces to interrupt the natural flavor. Wife's crab cakes were huge and zero filler. I also had the house made beer, orange creamsickle...well, had two. Delicious. One of the few restaurants that we have been to more then twice and look forward to next meal here. As a side note, all Covid 19 guidelines were followed, by restaurant, staff, and patrons.

Our server was very good, and I do not regret tipping over 20%. That being said, it took well over an hour to finally get our food, so we had to get it immediately boxed (we had to pick our kids up and we’re not expecting to spend 1 1/2 hour getting food without appetizers.) it was salmon and medium rare steak. When we ate it, the salmon was alright. On the other hand the steak was not medium rare because it seamed bad. It had a cabbage smell and tasted foul. I had to spit it out and throw it away. I will not be coming back, ever. I hope our waiter finds a better job.

First time here with my co-worker who has been here in the past and raves about it. Was told the building the restaurant is in used to be a bank. Inside, the decor is nice and the place is clean. Our waitress Jean (I think, apologize if wrong, I'm so bad with names) was absolutely lovely and attentive. I got the lunch combo: chicken salad, potato chips, cookie and a cup of creamy mushroom soup for $15. I was really full and it was very good. Hope I get to come back again...heard the desserts are delicious and made there. 😋

Horrible experience ordering delivery with this restaurant, absolutely terrible customer service.

I placed an order for delivery, directly with the restaurant. Unknown to me, they use companies like DoorDash and UberEats to fill these orders. I never got my order, so I checked with the restaurant, food hasn’t been picked up. I called DoorDash to see if they could provide an update on the order, but since I didn’t place an order with DoorDash (again, I ordered through the restaurant), they can’t help me. Called the restaurant again for assistance, manager went off on me about DoorDash (“we’ve had so many issues with DoorDash, I don’t know why we still use them”) and refused to help me further. Keep insisting I should call DoorDash and it’s their fault, not Twelve’s. Manager did not refund my order either.

Not a fun back and forth to get into on a Friday night. I understand there’s not always delivery drivers, but there’s no reason why the manager needed to make their delivery issues my problem, or take it out on a paying customer. I ended up disputing the transaction with my bank because I had no other option to get a refund. Lesson learned, never ordering from Twelve’s again, god forbid I have another issue and expect someone to help me.

Update 2/27/23: The owner called me to follow up after I posted this review; evidently nobody had communicated this issue to the owner before I wrote this. The owner was apologetic and explained additional training was needed to support this ordering system. This was somewhat reassuring but disappointing that it took a customer complaining and a posted review to get to a...

We have been here twice now. We are locals to the area.

The first time we came, they were BYOB. Now, they are serving wine, beer, and other drinks. That's a great upgrade.

We visited on a Sunday evening around 17:30. It was very empty, which is nice. My wife and I are not a fan of crowded restaurants (has nothing to do with the fake COVID19 situation).

I tried two of their wines, which were not great. I sent them away. I would suggest offering a wider variety; e.g. multiple labels of merlot, cabernet sauvignon, etc. My wife enjoyed the summer spritzer drink. Not too sweet, not too dry.

I had the wedge salad, a bowl of mushroom soup, and the risotto with filet and shrimp. The salad was good. The soup was great. The risotto took a LOOOOnnnnnggg time. I understand making it fresh, but I was wondering if that meant actually making the pasta itself from scratch or why it took as long as it did.

My wife had the potato cheese soup and parmesan encrusted chicken with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Her meal was great.

I would suggest turning down the music and/or changing it to a less obnoxious station or choosing a playlist of jazz, classical, or more subdued music that blends into the background. Also, it would be a great idea if they could ensure that none of the tables are wobbly each shift.

Overall, a great dining experience. We will certainly continue to have our date...

Older lady will bangs (server) came outside to greet her customers while I waited in my car on the side of the street (Exchange Pl) parking lot and very unprofessionally told her customers that they are trying to get the parking under control and that they are going to put signs up about the parking and that “these people” (me and my son) have been waiting here and gave me the nastiest face. I rolled my eyes and called the West Grove Borough IMMEDIATELY asking them if the parking lot and exchange pl street is private property? They said “no, it is PUBLIC up to two hours”. I assured her that I haven’t been here for two hours yet so I should be fine. I also told the borough that I overheard her say that they are going to put signs up. The lady (server) came outside by herself again stood on the balcony and from my car I opened the door a little bit and told her “it’s public property by the way, up to 2 hours” she said “yeah whatever (didn’t even look me in the face) ” and then I told her “I called the borough” and looked at me and stood there for a minute and went back inside. What a nasty women (you should’ve seen her face) , I really wanted to try twelves (I used to work for a doctor about a yr ago that knows the owners) but if this is the type of person they have working there then I’ll take my business somewhere else. What a disappointing first impression. Sept. 17, 2025 @ around...
