Moore's Family Restaurant — Restaurant in West Haven

Went to Moore's this morning. When we walked in it took a few minutes to be noticed and even spoke to. When we finally we even spoken to, we were told to sit wherever we wanted. There wasn't much open and chose a bigger booth because it WAS open. I understand that everyone was busy but it takes 2 seconds to acknowledge someone. There was also no other groups or people who also needed to be seated. We sat our booth for a bit and not one waitresses even said hello, be with you in a minute, or acknowledged us. The same lady that told us to sit wherever then told us we had to move and that those booths are "reserved" for parties 5 or more. Then grabbed a reservation sign from the table behind us and put in our table. There was no sign on the the table when we sat down telling us otherwise. When There was also no other groups or people who also needed to be seated.telling her that would have been good to know when being told to sit wherever and start doing so in the future she became snotty with us. A bit unprofessional to tell customers to sit "wherever they want" then tell them they have to move. The real kicker is the table she pulled the reservation sign off of also only had 2 people and the booth was the same size. We ended up just leaving, clearly my money isn't green enough. Posted a review on their Facebook page and they reported my review on Facebook. Super professional. Reviews help you know what you need to fix with your business. Worst Customer service ever!!! I Walked in they said sit wherever you want, I sat down they came and asked me if I would like anything to drink I said coffee, then walked away, Could have taken my order then lol

While waiting for my coffee I received a very important business call, the richest walk up the table and proceeded to ask me what I would like to eat while I was on the phone, I kindly told her I'm on the phone could you give me a couple of minutes,

She walked away!!!

Once again a different lady walked up and tried to talk to me while I was on the phone, I kindly said I'm on the phone could you give me a couple of minutes, she ignored my request and kept talking while I was on the phone with a very important business call, she really stated that they will be closing in 15 minutes, That's fine this is the epitome of bad customer service, I will never be visiting this location again and I suggest...

Love the food but the service was horrible. I called in a to go order and the girl that answered the phone sounded so annoyed and put me on hold for about 3 minutes before taking my order. When I went to pick the order up she was just as rude in person as she was on the phone. She gave me the total and it sounded high for what I ordered, I asked for the receipt and there was a tip added into it. I said, oh so you guys just go ahead and add a tip huh. She said, yep there's a 10% gratuity added on all to go orders. I feel like that's something she should have told me when I called to place my order. So I basically had no option but to tip them.
