I went in April 19th to buy a Talaria Sting R Karl Malone ADS Powersports had me sign up for a Yamaha Finance Credit Card to finance the bike. A little over a week after I had signed the paperwork to finance the bike, I received my Yamaha Credit Card in the mail, when I activated the card there was no balance on the card. I texted (Chad Wallwork) the salesman that I had worked with and told him that the card had not been charged yet. I never received any reply from him. I finally called the store and asked to talk to the finance manager to clear up the situation, they transferred my call to a guy named Cole. I brought it to Cole's attention that the card had not been charged and that I had texted Chad Wallwork and had not received a reply back. My exact words to Cole were "I am making this call because I still have noticed that the card had not been charged, and I don't want to get a call in the future saying that the bike was never paid for" Cole told me that he would do some looking into it and get back to me. When Cole got back to me he said, in his exact words, "everything looks good on our end so you're good to go" he also reassured me, in his own words, "that the dealership does not feel anyway towards you whatsoever".. Now I get a call yesterday the 12th of July (3 months after the purchase of the bike) from a guy named Brock stating that Yamaha Finance Credit had never paid them for the bike. Brock tells me that I need to sign another sales slip because the one that was signed before was 3 months old and was no longer valid. After waiting an hour to receive the email with the new paperwork I called to see what was going on and they told me that Brock would get back to me. 4 hours later I get a call from Brock stating that Yamaha Finance Credit is no longer excepting miscellaneous charges to the card and that they have another finance plan that I can try to sign up for to finance the bike. So now I have a hard credit inquiry, a $5,700 credit line that is unusable in my name, because they told me to sign up for their card to finance the bike. Hopefully they make it right, considering this mistake was nowhere...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI started working with these guys after getting tired of all the other shops getting bought out by bigger names consolidating. We have Motorcycles, ATV's, Side By Sides, Snowmobiles and a boat. Chad is awesome in sales, Stephanie I think she just runs the place she is amazing(she is part owner I just learned), and Braden there service manager is great. We mainly are working with them on snowmobiles. I had bent an A ARM, I could have fixed it myself but didn't have the time. Called them up to see if they had parts in and Stephanie figured out everything for me. Got me in and out in less than a week all for prices I would never expect. They don't try and sell you OEM or higher priced parts they try to do whats best and get what you want. Chad has been patient with me on buying things not pushing me but still keeping me up to date on deals and things I am buying. Getting a Polaris 9r, and two turbos. We had a loss in our family and Chad has made it just amazing with helping us sell certain things, trade in or consignment or just literally finding a buyer. It is nice to have trustworthy folks like this when our family is going through such a hard time and still trying to get out and do things as a family.
With losing my son, I cant say how grateful I am to have had the time spent with him in the outdoors from hunting, fishing to riding anything. Its hard but we want to continue with my wife, Daughter, Son and son in law and not waste a moment of life. It is too short. Thanks ADS. (Stephanie, literally had the shop working on the machines up until new years eve at 3 and got them done so that we could have a fun weekend. I will post some picks. )
An update. Since Karl malone has taken over nothing has changed for the worse. Everything is still good there the same people are there. Steph, Chad Fisher and Chad walwork(SP), the staff is super helpful. They do get busy but if you are looking to buy they really help educate and find the right...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI drove 5 hours from Nampa, ID to purchase a brand new motorcycle from this dealership. When i arrived there were three employees talking, i told them i am purchasing a motorcycle and one guy told Brock i was there. Chad was not there. Every one left and no one stayed with me to go over the bike features or anything. I know my way around motorcycles but i am still a customer. I purchased the bike, Brock and one other guy helped me load it in my truck. After a couple of days i realized i did not receive a manual or a second key. I contacted Chad W. (salesman) and Brock S. (finance) and was told by Brock that they would get it in the mail. I also called Chad and left a message. He never called me back. I waited a couple of more days and finally got hold of Chad and he was confused and thought he sent a manual to me. They did say they attempted to find my key, but my key ring did not have the metal tag for the key number. I spoke with Chad a second time and was told he would order a blank key and that it would arrive in a couple of days. The only way i was able to speak to him both times over the phone was by getting connected through the parts department. Why would a phone call to the sales department go straight to voicemail when they are open for business unless they blocked my number. It has been over a month since my purchase and i have not received a single phone call from Brock or Chad. The only contact i have received is from Brock apologizing for me not receiving the key or manual yet and telling me that he would let me know when it does ship. All i wanted was a manual so i could follow the maintenance schedule and a second key that i should have for my brand new bike. I purchased a genuine yamaha key for 16 dollars, received it the next day and then went to a locksmith and got it cut for 2 dollars. Its sad, all of this over a manual and a key that they told me get to me. Go purchase from another dealership. I will be purchasing in Idaho...
