McDonald's — Restaurant in West Jefferson

Male cashier was like a robot with no customer service skills at all. Female assistant manager was outstanding. Wish I had gotten names to give you. Male definitely had no goals in life.

Well, it's April 12th 2023 and I made the mistake of going back to this McDonalds in West Jefferson Ohio. They have added another lane so surely their service would have improved, Wrong! Pulled up, only car there, voice said, i'll be right with you. Another car pulls into the new lane about a minute after I have been waiting. They place their order and drive past. Ok, well they must have gotten confused, then lo and behold another car pulls up in the new lane and place their order and drive around. I talk into the speaker and say excuse me but receive no answer. I pull around and explain the the cashier the issue and ask for the manager. The manager states, sorry, I am looking into it and the cashier takes my order. I pull up to the window to retrieve my order, now this is where it gets interesting, the young teenage looking server who later identifies herself as Makensie, which I doubt that's her name, tells me, you will have to pull forward, we are waiting on your 3 cheese burgers. So clearly this is frustraiting and I told her, I will wait here, I have already been passed by twice. She gets rude and said you need to pull forward, which again I state, no, I will wait here. She rudley states, you chose McDonalds and I said yes but I did not choose bad service which this all took about 30 seconds and my cheese burgers show up. She grabs the bag and the happy meal box, leans out the service window part way into my vehicle and shoves the food onto me hitting me with the bags. I said I want your manager and she turned around and closed the window and tried to ignore me. I sat there and waited and finally someone else came over to the window and I tried to tell her what just happened and this whole time Makensie is making faces at me be hind this lady who claimed to be a manager but had no identification on and stated that I was rude for not pulling up and that she was not going to cooperate with me and was not going to give me her name to put in my complaint. She was not the first manager who spoke to me earlier. I have called Corporate to let them know of the incident. Looking into possible assault charges due to Makensie hitting me with the food. I'm sure McDonalds has cameras at their windows and they can verify all of this as being accurate. The incident took place at 1246-1254 time frame and fortunately I also have Dash cam. Do yourself a favor and drive to London or Galloway to use...

Worst McDonald's I've ever dealt with in my life. Unfortunately it's the only fast food place in West Jeff so I don't have any other options, so end up coming to this McDonald's often out of convenience. Not only do they screw up my order consistently, and when I say consistently I mean probably 8 out of 10 times but they also have very rude and unprofessional staff. On multiple occasions when I mention missing something I'm met with an attitude from some random 15-year-old as if it's my fault that they can't perform their simple job correctly. Sorry if it's inconvenient for you to go back and cook my food the way I told you to the first time. Wasn't surprised at all to see the rest of these negative reviews..smh. Do better and at least be more selective on the people you hire and explain to them that being rude to customers is not okay.

• UPDATE * Been almost a year since I've posted this and they're still consistently messing my order up. Just today I asked for no pickles on my sandwiches and they had pickles on them anyways and I also asked for ranch and didn't get any. Smh. Ridiculous. My suggestion would be to check your bag every single time at this location because there's a very good chance it will be messed up in some way. I understand that mistakes happen and if this was a one-time thing I would have never even posted this but this is seriously almost every time. Any random fourth grader with basic reading skills could do the job better than these people. I mean seriously how do you constantly mess up orders when everything is literally spelled out for you on...

Very poor service, efficiency. Shawty ethical treatment and disrespect towards long-time tolerant and faithful regular customers. Employees often do not apologize for their own mistakes issues with their regular miss quotes and mistakes involving the menu, simple orders and advertised items offers and specials. Never ending very long waiting just to receive more than often another customer's order. And I don't feel like going into the sanitation in the cooking area. One thing I like to do is this a McDonald's training station? I often have noticed over the years that the management staff an employee's are constantly changing are you off In-N-Out all the time as workers great employees along with management Illustrated time and time again they have no clue, have no idea, possess the capacity to learn what a honor that it is 2 have a job. What you get paid for the work you do it means that your a professional... earn it. I have not and shall not spend another dime at this restaurant and I believe I am owed apology for my mistreatment by a staff member three weeks ago. should be in order. I ve seen many workers here over the past dozen years or so leave & return to work weeks or months later.
