NEVER HAVE I EVER Like many I have eaten at Subway from coast to coast and even offshore. Only an exceptional experience would warrant my submitting a review. This is clearly the best Subway I have ever visited. I stopped on a whim after visiting Electrify Bike Co. I ordered a combo meal with perhaps the strangest mix of ingredients. I know what I like and feel comfortable asking. Why did this Subway excel? Atmosphere is clean, fresh and spacious with lots of natural light and comfortable seating. They were incredibly busy but worked quickly and efficiently. Some employees were still in training. Chris, the manager, was seamlessly helping customers, recommending, training and problem solving. All with a fully engaged and patient approach. The kind of manager I would like to hire before my retirement. The meal was noticeably fresh. Not only was my bread soft and flavorful, the lettuce actually crunched with crispness and my doubled tomatoes were full juicy slices. They built my sandwich as if it were their personal meal. I enjoy a good soda with my meal and thank heaven their Coca-Cola products or well mixed at the fountain. It makes a big difference. I decided a delicious and nutritious meal in a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere while enjoying the background interactions between manager, staff and customers. Never have I ever been impressed by any Subway, until today. I look forward to returning when I pick up my...
Read moreI always come to the same subway and the service is good. But today, the manager made feel that the time of others is more important than mine. I used coupons for my meals, but the cashier didn't know how to apply the discount, the manager came to help. She gave me good discount after all, explainig me the why's didn't work. But at the end, she said a comment about other customer must wait for the "inconvenience I provoke" repeating over and over again "sorry to others" and even telling me that other customers have just 20 minutes for lunch in their break lunch. Which is not my problem that the discount didn't work and the rest of the customers might wait until fix the problem and i was able to pay. The situation stressed everyone, but keep telling the rest of the customer "sorry for the inconvenience" and AGAIN repeating they have only 20 minutes of lunch break while I was in the restaurant eating, it is uncomfortable and unnecessary. I'm a customer like any other customer, my time is as value as others. Make me feel it was "my fault" the delay in their service. Like everybody else's , I made the line, waited for my turn, and I was polite with everyone at all moments, I just felt like crap at the end. Sadly, this is gonna be the last time I'm eating in this specific restaurant. Customer services might apply for everyone no matter the...
Read moreI completely devoured my $9 sandwich with all my favorite veggies, pepper jack cheese, guacamole, and bacon. Now, how did the 4.99 ft long become a 9+ $ sandwich you ask. Well, after the cashier range my order up, I politely asked how much the 4 bacon slices had cost, $2. The guacamole $1.50. Moving forward, I'm learning allot of retail and restaurant associates aren't trained to make sure their guests are aware of pricing for additional items. ImI not in a Subway everyday. I don't keep tabs on they're pricing methods. Take care of your customers. Not everyone pays attention and as a caring associate/business it should be taken into consideration. People are distracted, busy, focusing on the tasks that are lying wait. Be business/consumer friendly. Educate the busy person about additional costs out of courtesy and chances are they'll thank you for it. They'll be more likely to return to a business that watches out for the needs of the person standing in front of them. Customer service otherwise was fine. Light conversation, clean looking store,...
