My favorite Mexican restaurant in the Iowa City area and definitely worth the drive. I have frequented this restaurant for more than ten years and it is ALWAYS GOOD. The Mexican-style chicken tacos are my favorite item on the menu -- corn taco shells, shredded chicken, onion, cilantro, a slice of avocado, and a lime to squeeze over the top. My husband loves to order the chimichanga, which is HUGE! In addition to their outstanding food, their prices are also quite reasonable. El Patio is a nice small town Tex-Mex restaurant, one of several in a town with a large Hispanic population. Good food. Friendly service.
