Coney Island Connection — Restaurant in West Monroe

Keeping it as simple as possible. The food is as advertised. Great fast food nothing more nothing less. Chili Dogs, Cheesesteaks, onion rings etc. The reason to make this a destination stop is the service and hospitality. As you enter the man behind the counter who I believe is the owner or manager greets you with a loud hello no matter how busy he may be expediting orders and helping his staff. The day I went in, there was a line out the door due to a news report on him donating to charity. The lady at counter taking orders is very nice and walks you through the menu if you need help. When the food comes out the man happily greets you with a smile and thanks you again for your order. Oh and he also thanks every single patron as they leave. I truly thank you for the great hospitality and your passion. This is lost in the restaurant industry and is fading in everyday life. It was a pleasure to visit your establishment today and I will definitely be back!...

Food was good and hot. Older lady at cash register was not friendly but two ladies working grill were. Showed the lady at register my rebe l card, told her I had one and she still didn't give discount. Told me the total bill and I asked her if she gave discount and started punching buttons on register to fix it without ever saying sorry, I forgot, I didn't see your card or anything. Has happened before with same worker. Owner needs to address this. Why have your business on the card if worker doesn't want...

They were closed, drove by to get a chili cheese burger. It is so good, we stayed an extra day being in town visiting on a holiday weekend to grab some on the way out of town, there was bad Weather driving in a bad storm, so it was an easy decision. So yes I am giving it a 5 🌟 ,because I have been eating it for over 50 years, since I was raised here. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Just give it a try. The fries aren't the best, get them while they are fresh.
