Subway — Restaurant in West Newton

It makes me so sad to see one employee in the entire building working so hard to make food for a line out the door. I wish I could leave two separate reviews for this place. 5 stars for the employee (I think his name is Danny?) struggling to keep up but still doing a fantastic job, and 0 stars for the people that run and manage this place. There should always, ALWAYS be a manager in the store at all times. And can i just say, this happened on a Saturday. Who in their right mind would leave one person to do the job of 3 on a weekend?? Absolutely abhorrent. Your employees deserve better, subway!! Do better!

I tried again. Now I refuse to ever go back. Man who made my sandwich was sick. Eating behind the counter when I walked in. Almost forgot to put gloves on. Nose started DRIPPING when he made my sandwich. He wiped his nose, changed only 1 glove and didn’t wash his hands. My stomach was turning. When we arrived, there was no one else in the place. We had to ask for a rag to wipe off the tables they were sticky and covered in crumbs and spilt drink. Make sure you announce that you have coupons so the cashier can charge you accordingly, if you don't... You'll get nothing but attitude. Even when you present the coupons at the checkout point. Oh and let's not forget that at the counter while paying there was a spider climbing on our to go bag. 🤢 The bathrooms were not clean or stocked. And don't take your little ones. They have a highchair, but no changing table in the bathroom. That's when you change the baby on the table your eating at. All the items listed above could be fixed or taken care of, but the attitude from the girl who rang me up was enough for me to never go back. She stayed in the back and made people wait for 5 minutes til they called out for her to come and...

My husband has been a customer of Subway for 30 years. He has eaten lunch at this particular Subway everyday since it opened. He has been served by many of the employees here over the years and they all have been great, except for this woman employee today. It took her 5 minutes to show up behind the counter. Once she was behind the counter, she began talking to two women, telling stories about herself, for at least 5 minutes, while my husband waited. She was gabbing and hadn’t even started to make sandwiches for either of the two women customers. My husband spoke up and said, “Miss, can you take my order, I am on a time schedule.” She replied, “If you don’t like it, go eat somewhere else!” He obviously left.
