Because of me being a true show me KC LUV, I gave into trying this place out on my brief visit. The ribs and sauce was a slight comparison to my sauce at home but not matching. The chicken/brisket/sausage was cold. I had seen a previous review stating the food was cold but I expected for them to serve ready to serve food but that was a let down. I came to splurge yet I had held tight to my wallet after tasting the cold meats beside the ribs. My boyfriend had the smoked wings and they were super dry. A little disturbing that we were charged extra for accompanying fries. If you are going to charge extra, let the customer know prior. I would’ve ordered fries as one of my sides to save the headache. The drink from the bartender was well mixed! I loved it. Dear restaurant please read these reviews and take heed because my food should never be cold at arrival. I spent $80 and I feel that I was jipped for my hard earned money with no apology rendered for the cold food. The closest to Kc this restaurant had gotten is the sauce, sweet with a kick of spice. Restaurants need to be on their toes not knowing who is coming in to rate them.

Hello my foodies! I'm back in NJ and stopped by this place that we had seen a few months back but could not get into. It was super packed, so we couldn't get in at the time. We finally got in on a Sunday afternoon, and it was petty quiet. The place looks bigger than it is from the outside. There are two dining areas and another room in the back for the sports fans. They have a main bar and huge TV's by the main bar area where they show the games playing that day. They have a medium-sized menu easy to see their selection. Mostly MEATS! Also, some choices of seafood as well. The price is a little higher for the BBQ platters they offer, but you can share them with a second person. We tried the combo that came with ribs, pulled pork and sausage, macaroni, and corn bread with collard greens on the side. Overall, it was pretty good. The meat was tasty. The macaroni wasn't to my liking, but the rest was pretty good! Great ribs, and the pulled pork was delicious. Our server was great and friendly. I would suggest stopping by and checking out this spot.

We came for comedy night and were pleasantly surprised with the food. We ordered the bbq combo platter with two sides and it was plenty for two large adults. Meat was tender and well seasoned, the platter was well presented on what I believe was a cake tray (honestly, more businesses should display their platters on raised trays! Brilliant) and by the time everything was said and done, I was happy and full. Their cornbread was the highlight of the night though. Four pieces later, I honestly considered getting more to go. Very buttery and soft, made with love. With that being said, they deserve a better parking structure. Unfortunately there were just not enough spaces for everyone and people started just leaving their cars. My diet coke was a bit tasteless but everything else was top notch. Everybody took great care of us and the servers were always smiling. Service was efficient, from taking our order to getting the check. We'll be back, we've been trying to find a great bbq place near us for some time for those random cravings. This is it.

Went for a comedy show. It was a great low key lounge that does karaoke nights, comedy shows and just a great lounge to either listen to DJ or some nights they have live bands. The BBQ platter was amazing meat cooked to perfection it was enough to feed three people. The mac and cheese tasted amazing. The candied yams were okay but not awful needed to be cooked a little more. The skirt steak which I asked to ve cooked well done was like butter grilled just enough to be well done but not cooked so hard u can barely chew it. Definitely took leftovers home lol. Appetizers the fried calamari was fried to a beautiful tasty perfection. The henny bbq wings were amazing not overly saucy which I dislike they had amazing flavor. Their ciroc and henny punch was very good. The prices were very reasonable for such good food rating 9/10
