Phillip the Bartender from the Tiki told me about the new ownership for this restaurant, I am a local/regular at this Hotel. My husband and I went to try it and it was the absolute best! We have been back 5 or 6 times and have taken other friends and relatives. The Tomahawk and the Meatball are to die for! So far there has not been one bad thing. We have had Travis serve us a couple times, very nice and chatty. We went last night and they had run out of the Tomahawk, so we chose the Chicken Alfredo and the Lobster / Risitto that was on special for the night. Outstanding! The portions are large, we always have food for the next day. Every entree comes with a soup or salad and fresh bread, we can't say enough about the place and yes, Joey(the owner) is very attentive to all the customer. He gave us a free caprese salad as well as a cocktail yesterday, I guess he felt bad about not having the steak, so that was nice. Most places would not do that. Great lighting and very comfortable seating for my wife and I. I was greeted and served by MICHELLE. She was from up north just like us an we set it off from the beginning! She gave us the best recommendations Based off of what we enough and she nailed it to a TEE! ‘FORGET ABOUT IT’ then the owner Joey came around to check on us as if we were family. Who does that anymore in this day and age.. HE DOES! I felt as if I was back up north since the moment I walked in, til the moment we left. I would like to thank our waitress Michelle and the owner Joey for the unbelievable hospitality they provided for us this evening. Read moreI ordered the Calamari Fritti and Linguini con Vongole through Door Dash. Delivery service was great, but the food was horrible and definitely not worth what I paid. The calamari was rubbery and the breading just fell off when I touched it. Plus, some of the pieces still had the quill it. It also had no flavor.
The Linguini con Vongole was so bland, watery, and disgusting. There was no flavor at all and the liquid just tasted like water with some olive oil. It was so bland. No matter how much garlic salt, pepper, spices, and pecorino I added, it didn't taste good. A well-prepared Linguine con Vongole shouldn't have a lot of excess liquid sloshing around. The goal is a luscious, creamy sauce that coats the pasta rather than a soupy consistency. This was not the case. There was a lot of excess liquid sloshing around and there was no creaminess. This was definitely not worth the $30 I paid.
