Fabulous Soul Food — Restaurant in West Park

Hello to all my followers. Its been a very long time. I hope you and your love ones fared ok during the Pandemic. Its so nice to be back doing what I love to do. Telling you guys about all great places to go and eat, shop, buy gas. We had it going on before the pandemic, so lets get this party started. Today I started out with the very best restaurant its called FABULOUS. With a name like that you think something would be out of form or something.. Well take it from me when you want perfect you want to go to Fabulous. This place lights up your heart, soul, and its not hard on the wallet either. Everything about this place is great from customer service, to the staff. Everyone is one big happy family. There are 4 women I must mention in this review. Each one of these woman play a very vital role. Their rolls are from a waitress to all the way up to head cook to managers. Ms. Shelia is your waitress, she has a smile as big as Texas. A heart even bigger. You must come by and met her you fall in love with her just as everyone does. Moving right along you then have Ms. Quitta and Ms. Shay these women are the women to get to know. They know what is going on. Then you have Ms. Sherri. This woman is the woman to know. She knows how to get to a man heart and woman and yes yes even the kids. That is with her cooking. Everything she makes is made with the utmost respect and love. You can taste it in every bite. Whether its the collards to cabbage or yams or the pork chops. Even when you get the meatloaf dinner. Fabulous is one of those restaurants that will stand the test of time. It will be around when all the others are shut down. You will always be able to count on them. Integrity, honesty, dependable. Those are 3 words you hardly ever hear especially in the realm of the restaurants. Please do your taste buds a favor come on over to FABULOUS SOUL FOOD and taste the goodness. Well this was the first time that I was at this restaurant establishment and I must say from the word go I really enjoyed myself, first off I ordered the coffee which was delicious, so much so I had to order another cup prior to ordering my meal. I ordered the boil fish and grits which was delicious as well, usually at some places you have to add lime juice, pepper, salt something or other, but here everything was spot on, you didn't have to add anything, seasoned to perfection, it reminded me of being in the Bahamas compliments to the chef, the wait staff was exceptional as well very attentive, and very pleasant started from walking in the door. I would recommend this place to everyone it's not a big place it has about three booths, and a bar, and around 6-8 tables, but they also do take out as well in the bar that they have. its's a little small bar I think it seats about maybe four stools. Wow, I came because I thought I saw a juicy chicken in a picture and they told me it was turkey. I'm not a big fan of turkey, but they gave me a piece, and I instantly got hooked! I ordered a large turkey with baked beans, mac n cheese, corn bread, and rice. The people here are very friendly and you can tell there is a lot of family love involved. This is definitely the spot to come to get you right. The food is so delicious I really am shocked. If I lived in this area I'd probably be eating this everyday. The turkey was succulent, the beans were sweet and smokey, the rice had the perfect texture and the corn bread was sweet. The lemonade I had was a perfect drink for this meal and I will be coming back. I go to a lot of restaurants and food shops but this one blew my mind. It's very one of a kind. Like a hidden gem. I really am coming back for more. I was in there and even regulars came in. I heard doordash calls coming in and everything that just proves this place really is 5 stars.
