An absolutely terrible experience on every level. My family arrived at 4pm to watch the College football semi- finals (Michigan/TCU and Georgia/Ohio). Planned on spending quite a while there. We were told by the bartender upon entering that “I’m the only person here and I have too many people already, you can’t come in”. I did a quick headcount and there were 14 people in the bar. As it’s rural WV and this seems to be the only show in town, we asked if we could just sit at one of the many, many open tables and watch the games. The reply “well, you won’t get served.” We probably should have taken the hint and just left and driven the 30 minutes to find another venue - oh well, hindsight is 20/20. We decided to stay anyway. Waited until the night manager came in for service, but finally got a drink and some apps. Then, in the third quarter of the CFB Championship playoff they put on a West Virginia basketball game. And not that they turned it on only a couple of TV’s - they turned every TV to an early season, completely pointless, basketball game. We asked to have it changed back. No dice. Absolutely insanity. You read that correctly. A supposed sports bar turned of the College football championship. We dropped almost $200 at this shoddily run joint, and they couldn’t keep it on a TV! These guys don't know how to make anything. We ordered one buffalo chicken flatbread and one Fajita . flatbread was made using some crappy round readymade pizza base and adding some cheese ( you can count the pieces) ranch and 8 small pieces of chicken.I thought that they bring by mistake but they said its flatbread. thats a joke. Fajita description says that marinated chicken and then cooked. all they used is that one dollar fajita spice from walmart and no marination , no salt . No taste at all for both items. Waited 2 hours for food. Watched others eat and leave. Inquired as to what was taking so long. Server laughed it off. Asked to speak to manager. They either didn't care or didn't get the message. Asked again and server stomped over to the bartender. Bartender was apparently the supervisor? Manager went home apparently? Either way worst service I've ever had. Never posted review before. Always thought it was unfair. But this is well earned. Circumstances cause mistakes to happen. Always understandable. Lack of concern and or ability to react to it is unacceptable.
